Location was great. The accommodation was super clean. Great that there were extras like cling film, salt and oil to use. Irene was super helpful and responsive to any queries including local transport etc.

“Perfect stay in downtown”

Everything was perfect. Lovely spacious house and we loved the roof terrace. The beds were very comfortable and the shutters made the rooms nicely dark at night and with the aircon we slept like babies. No noise could be heard from outside. Perfectly situated in downtown close to shops and restaurants but on a quiet side street. Parking for free close to the apartment and if that one was full there’s parking by the venitian harbor. Irene was very easy to reach and very helpful. We loved it and highly recommend it.

We had a fantastic stay! The place was fully equipped with everything we needed, making us feel like home. The host was incredibly kind and always ready to help. The location was unbeatable—right in the middle of the old town, in the heart of the shopping district, which made it super convenient for dining out or shopping. Plus, it was just a 10-minute walk to the beach!

Perfect location, clean, had everything we needed and more. Can't think of a better place to stay in. You can walk everywhere and there was enough to do for a week. The roof terrace is a really nice place to relax and just hang out.

Centrally located, outstanding communication, beautifully restored building (inside and outside), fully equipped with everything we needed (and much more than that), great roof terrace with view to the Fortezza, in total way beyond expectation.

All decorated to high standard. Roof Terrace fabulous. Equipped with everything we needed. 2 bathrooms so a downstairs toilet. Very central and supermarket just a few minutes away. Irene was a great host We had a wonderful holiday and our family loved it all.

Sensational house. Everything of the highest standard. The house must have had a general renovation not too long ago because everything in it looks like it is new. The thoughtful design is an added bonus. Everything looks as if it has been designed in a certain style and not, as often happens in rental accommodation, as if it were random things that happened to be cheap at the time of purchase. Here, all the furnishings have a deliberate style. Another advantage of this flat is its location on the very edge of the old town of Rethymno, which means that you have access to all the attractions of the town, i.e. restaurants, bars and monuments, within a 1-2 minute walk. At the same time, the house itself is located on an extremely quiet street, so it is very quiet inside. At night it is perfectly quiet. In addition, the house has a roof terrace with a view of the city's greatest monument, the old fortress located on a hill. All rooms in the house have air conditioning. Near the house, not more than 50m away, there are 2 large car parks for cars. This is very important because it is almost impossible to find a free space for a car on the street. The flat is equipped almost completely, bed linen and towels are even in excess. Washing machine, iron, televisions, high-speed internet, all plates and glasses in the kitchen, and so on and so forth.... All the equipment as if you were at home. The only inconvenience is that there is no dishwasher in the kitchen, I don't know why exactly this equipment is not there, but you have to wash the plates by hand. As a rating I give a 10. I would give a 10 with a plus, but unfortunately such a rating cannot be given.... I highly recommend this house because it is one of the best accommodations I have ever rented.

“Wonderful apartment conveniently situated on the edge of old town.”

Sparkling clean, beautifully furnished, quiet accommodation at the edge of the old town. Convenient to everything. Beds were comfortable and it felt like a home away from home. Irene was great with communication and very obliging.

The house is beautiful and very thoughtfully supplied with everything you need, from various kitchen devices, a washing machine, down to family games and books in the living room. We were traveling with a toddler, and were provided a crib and outlet covers upon arrival. The check-in with Irene was very easy, and she was lovely and helpful when we had any questions. The location is great, only a 2 minute walk to various restaurants and shops, but just removed enough from the center of the old town bustle to be quiet at night for sleeping. We also greatly enjoyed the Fortezza view from the terrace in the evenings. All in all it was a wonderful experience and we hope to come again!
