I stayed at Pal Calma Suites in the Junior Suite and honestly, it was one of the best value-for-money experiences I’ve ever had. Everything was within walking distance, super convenient and easy to explore the area. A special shoutout to Giorgos – what an amazing guy! He went above and beyond to help us with anything we needed and made us feel truly welcome. It honestly felt like home from the moment we arrived. One thing’s for sure: I’ve already booked my next trip for next year. That’s how good it was!

We decided to stay at Pal Calma after reading all the wonderful reviews about the suites and George in particular . We are very glad that we made that choice ! The deluxe suite we chose was super clean and well designed . Lovely vibes . The location is excellent as we only needed a few minutes to reach all the good cretan restaurants and historical monuments .The best thing, however, was meeting George! We have never met such a professional and wonderful host. He fulfilled all our requests and helped us with all our questions . He exceeded our expectations by far ! Needless to say that we recommend Pal Calma to everyone and that we will be back 100%

“10 day stay in Rethymno at Pal Calma Suites”

Stayed in the presidential suite. The apartment was bright, clean and spacious with all the facilities you would need to make a comfortable stay. George was an exceptional host who was always willing to help - whether that was if we had any questions about the accommodation, restaurant recommendations, or to book a restaurant or transport, George replied promptly and efficiently. The location was excellent, right in the old town of Rethymno. At night, you wouldn't hear much noise from the restaurants and taverna's below, making a comfortable and quiet night sleep. I would definitely recommend this accommodation to stay when in Rethymno and look forward to booking again in the future.

The suite was well equipped with everything we needed and the location was excellent within the heart of the old town. George was an exceptional host who helped us with all our needs from helping with car hire to finding us parking to booking us hair cuts! Nothing was ever too much. The property was safe and secure in the most friendly neighbourhood.

The apartment is of a modern design, very comfortable, very clean and equipted with new furniture and air condition. The location is exclusive. It is located in the heart of the Old city right in the center of Rethymno surraunded by many nice restaurants, bars, caffes, supermarkets and shops. Public parking for just 5€ per day is only 2 min walk from the apartment. Our host George is a real professional ready to provide great service and to help his guests with all issues a tourist might need. George thank you for your Cretan hospitality and kindness! “A lovely flat with exceptional service”

The property was exceptionally clean and tidy - there were three of us and it had everything we needed including kitchenware, a lovely shower and two TVs. It was right in the centre of the town making it super convenient to get to the port, all shops/bars/restaurants, and the sea. George went out of his way to help us in anything we needed, whether it be booking restaurants and taxis for us or cleaning the room throughout our four night stay. He was so kind and friendly and couldn’t have done more for us. We really appreciated all his help and would highly recommend Pal Calma suites to anyone thinking of visiting Rethymno.

Pal Calma Suites is a great choice for those who want to find a beautiful and convinent place to stay right in the heart of Rethymno and in the middle of Crete as well . Everything ( sights , entertainment , shops , food) is only a few minutes by foot, away from your door . Our Suite was recently renovated , cozy and luxurious . In a few words , it had all the amenities that are required for a relaxing and enjoyable stay plus it was one of the cleanest places we have ever visited . The highlight at this stay was our host . George is a very helpful person and a kind soul as well . He was very welcoming and attentive from the start . His knowledges of the area and his connections with the locals made our trip unique and remarkable ! Can't wait to come back next year !

“Special Holidays”

Lovely Suites right in the center of the town ! The location couldn’t be better as we only needed a few minutes walk to reach all the taverns, bars and cafes . We stayed at the deluxe suite which was very comfortable, extremely clean and very well equipped with everything we needed . George the host is literally the best carrying and friendly person you could find . From the moment we booked he went above and beyond for us ! The best sentence to describe our stay would be that it truly felt like a home away from home ! Highly recommended to everyone who want to experience special holidays!

Clean and comfortable Suites right in the center of the town . As a person who sells mattresses for a living I can assure you that the quality of the bed mattresses is top ( also the sofas in the first floor are equipped with the same top quality mattresses which basically make them comfortable beds) George , the host , was there for us anytime we needed assistance ( tips , recommendations, restaurant reservations, rental car booking) Although the pictures are realistic, if you can’t decide what type of suite you want , you can ask the host to send you a complete video of the suite you like before you book . Overall we definitely loved the place and with George’s special touch our holidays were one of the best we ever had !

Beautiful apartment in the Old Town, spacious duplex, well furnished and comfortable. Situated on a pedestrian street with plenty of bars and restaurants, but the apartment had good sound insulation and remained quiet at night. Easy walking distance to the Venetian Port and Fortress. Our host, George, was fantastic; always ready to help with luggage, car parking or booking restaurants. Nothing was too much trouble. He made our stay unforgettable.

“Amazing experience!”

We had an incredible experience at the Pal Calma Suites. Everything was excellent. Nothing was lacking in the room, it was clean and the bed was comfortable. The airconditioning was strong and adjustable to create whatever inside temperature you required to sleep or to relax at a moments notice. The location is great too. It’s right inside to the old town where the rustic streets and restaurants are. It’s also just 5 minutes away from the dike and 15 from the beach. You can get very close by car/taxi and it’s less then a 10 minute walk away from the tourist and intercity bus stops. The host was very kind and incredibly helpful. He was always reachable by phone and ready to answer questions or offer assistance. He offered a free tour of Rethinmon and had a lot of tips about activities etc. He showed us the bus station too and helped us buy the tickets we needed, since the busses aren’t very easy to figure out as a foreigner. He also got us discounts on drinks and has great connections to the locals if you need anything to be arranged.

Located in the heart of the city, this place was perfect for my staying. The host provided excellent tips on local eateries and attractions! The apartment was absolutely spotless and beautifully decorated. Our host George went above and beyond to make sure we felt like at home, attentive and made sure everything was in order for our last minute arrival. We will definitely book again!
