For me this hotel was practically perfect. It somehow blended the feel of a resort and a villa or homestay. Dinner feels like a generous home cooked meal. It's a buffet but curated and cohesive. There aren't endless options and there aren't any chicken nuggets or pizzas. Fussy eaters beware but I respected the celebration of local cuisine. The grounds are pretty and well kept. In May it felt quiet and peaceful. There was always a large choice of sun loungers round the pool and often my kids had the pool to themselves. There is ping-pong and tennis and giant chess. All free and all available. If you have toddlers the baby pool is wonderful. Surrounded by shade, 2 water slides, toys and most importantly entirely visible from the side. My kids are 7 and 9 but we all loved hanging out here! Staff are generally very friendly especially the lovely Aphrodite. It felt like a family run business; you see the same faces every day. We hired a car and went out most days as there is so much to see in Crete so half board worked perfectly. There is a supermarket over the road to pick up a picnic. Parking is free and easy. I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to families who want a comfortable base in a fantastic location. It's excellent value for money and has everything you need without being showy.

“Amazing food, beautiful pool and gorgeous beach within a short stroll”

This place is a gem, great all inclusive offering with exceptional food. A short bus ride away from Rethymnon, and a very short walk to the beach which has a very bougie beach club called Baja Beach Club. There is also a small village within a 5 minute walk with several tavernas and a few shops. We went with our 21 year old daughter and went for a family room, which has 2 separate bedrooms. The pool is huge, with a separate shallow area for adults or kids, and a separate kids pool too. This place has a boutique hotel vibe, it's not very big, but it's very laid back. Plus, no towels on sunbeds in the morning, which was great! Admittedly we were there just outside of school holidays, but there were loads of empty sunbeds throughout the very attractive grounds. Thoroughly recommend if you are looking for somewhere relaxed to spend a week or two in the Cretan sunshine. Rethymnon is a lovely little town too.

A very nice hotel, located in a small village with a nearby supermarket and available parking. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the pool is excellent. Breakfast is varied and very good. The staff in the dining area and at the reception are lovely and helpful. -

The staff are very welcoming and helpful it felt more like a family rather than a hotel the manager was going arround and welcoming everyone making sure everyone was happy! The food is really good!

“Lovely place”

Staff was nice and helpful. When we arrived they provided us a room on a street side and it was too loud and noisy. So we asked to shand to a pool side - so the host was very helpful and arranged the swap. Pools are clean and pool area is cozy. There is a bar that serves and prices are very okay. 2 min walk to the beach and 5 min walk to a little centar with tavernas and shops. We were sattisfied with our stay. Nice that the hotel is rather a small or medium size.

The AC was very good and modern. It has a silent mode too and a night light off. The hotel bar was nice. The hotel interior is nice. The pool was nice. Free sunbeds at the beach. Good prices. Lots of activities to do ( tennis, ping pong, small outdoor gym), close distance to Rethymno by taxi, also to nearby restaurants and 2 beaches. All staff except for one were amazing and friendly. Bathroom towels were changed daily and the room was cleaned daily. Was overall very relaxing.

After 10days in Chania old town, we wanted a chilled 5 nights with a pool. Which it delivered, and more. The family that run the hotel are all very warm, welcoming and friendly.

The pool is deep and good for swimming, the breakfast and the dinner are delicious and you can choose from a wide range of foods. The staff are super kind, and they helped even choose restaurants and programs.

“Lovely little oasis in hot Crete”

The road outside the hotel is very busy as it is the main road to Rethimno. It is not a very built up area, both business and local residents live side to side nicely. A short walk to the supermarket on one side and a 10 mins walk to the main road restaurants, cafes and shops on the other. The bus stops are also very close. We had a car so we did not use the local bus. The hotel had the

We loved how helpful Maria and Demi were. They were always smiling and happy to help. The walkway to the beach, whilst spooky in the dark, it was a lovely short walk access to the beach where we watched beautiful sunsets! A perfect location for this, also for moon gazing! The food was delicious, and a great variety each night keeping the meat and veggie eaters fulfilled! Wine was lovely, though we hoped to have a couple classic cocktails on the inclusive list but not a problem. We explored their menu… We loved our room location, ground floor and next to our party member and we were so grateful to have this request met!! The decor was lovely, a gorgeous outdoor seating and pool bar also. We loved the coffee and cake hour and ice creams all day! (With all inclusive) we didn’t catch her name but a lovely young server was always so smiley and happy to greet our daughter! As were the cleaners, very happy and welcoming, always greeting us in the mornings. Their service really was lovely. Though it was a very busy week in Crete with a bank holiday and religious celebrations taking place, the hotel always found us transfers and taxis with great timing and prices.

The host is a wonderful person, explaining everything with such joy and warmth, making the whole check-in process delightful. The garden area is beautiful, with a lovely pool, and we really enjoyed playing table tennis.
