Kriti Beach Hotel lies right by a Blue Flag beach of Rethymnon, and a 5-minute walk from the Venetian Harbour. It features a heated pool, sauna and steam room and serves certified Greek breakfast in the morning. Each elegantly decorated room at Kriti Beach Hotel is air-conditioned and has private balcony with sea or mountain views. Greek breakfast is included in the room rate. The breakfast was very good mainly thanks to the very kind and helpful chefs working in the kitchen. They were polite, welcoming and clearly doing their best to provide a pleasant experience for the guests. However, for a 5-star hotel the breakfast does not meet the expected standard. It would be perfectly acceptable for a 3- or 4-star hotel, and in that case I would even rate it as excellent. But for a hotel that advertises itself as 5 stars, the variety and overall level should be higher.

Well located hotel opposite the beach. Hotel was nice, clean and had a great breakfast offering. The staff were also very good, both the bellboy and man at reception were friendly and helpful.

“A 3star hotel at best with 5star prices”
Location, the hotel is right in front of the seaside and has access to a private beach. Air conditioning was also good as the temperature outside was hot. The bed was comfortable although we had 2single beds instead of a double bed
