In the village about 5 mins away there were 3 places to eat. We only ate at the restaurant that the owner recommended but it was so good we went 3 times. As a family it was a lovely villa to relax in and the outside area was gorgeous. It was a 10 min drive to a Lidl and the supermarkets in the village were well stocked.

Everything was perfect, I couldn’t recommend this place more! When I come back to Crete I will definitely be staying here again, I couldn’t ask for more!

Villa was with a beautiful view. Big terrace with pool and jacuzzi. We paid extra for pool to be heated and it was a brilliant idea beacause of the weather. Villa is very good equipped and was very clean. Small town near with some good restaurant. We enjoyed our stay very much!

The pool, the jakuzzi was amazing. Quiet nice area in village Gerani. When we checked in we found a bottle of wine, tsoureki, and fruits which was very surprising. The bed is super convenient. We had a lot of towels which is big advantage when you use pool and jakuzzi. We found also washing powder and dish washing tablets which is useful when you travel with family.

Wau, it was absolutly amazing, breathetaking view, nice pool, calm but still close to the beautiful beaches. We love this stay.

Although the location of the Villas was away from the city center, the view from the Villas was excellent. What we really liked were the Swimming Pool and Jacuzzi. The facilities inside were very good, everything was in order. The hosts were very much responsive, very neat and quite place. We are seriously thinking about making Crete and this Villa as our vacation spot every year. Weather was excellent even in 3rd week of October this year, so we had an awesome time. Thanks!!

“Amazing villa!”

Amazing! the outside space is huge, great views by day and beautifully lit at night. Very private, not overlooked. Host met us and was very welcoming - we appreciated the lovely gifts! Well appointed, even two coffee machines, great cooking facilities including BBQ - perfect for a relaxing day. The pool is wonderful, cleaned every day, and outside area swept daily - staff so helpful and attentive. Loved the hot tub, especially at night with the changing lights, listening to music. Weather wasn't great, but it didn't matter at all, the villa was so perfect we enjoyed every minute. Will be back one day!

“Beautiful villa, a perfect base for a relaxing holiday”

The villa was clean and cool, the outside pool area was wonderful and the views were stunning! Collecting the keys was very straightforward after a long and stressful journey from the UK. The restaurants in the village were amazing (Staras was really nice!), and it was a reasonably short car trip into Rethymno. Probably the nicest holiday I've ever been on, and a large part of that was having this beautiful villa as our base! Thank you for having us :)

3rd time at Kallixeni Villas. Nice villas, wonderful view and everything you need nearby (Tavernas, groceries, Beaches). Everything perfectly cleaned. Very friendly staff.

“The perfect holiday in a perfect Villa!”

We had an absolutely AMAZING stay for 2 weeks! The Villas are just like on the pictures, if not nicer! If you are looking for a relaxing holiday, this is it! Absolutely quiet and relaxing! Finally we found a Villa that really ticks all the boxes. Communication from the moment of booking was seamless. Check -in absolutely wonderful - got greeted with welcome gifts in the Villa (Water, wine, Raki!) . Everything is spotlessly clean. The Villa is of a higher standard and has lots of little touches that make you feel like you are at home. A very well equipped kitchen. Everything is there what you can possibly need. The lovely cleaning ladies came by every 3rd day to clean and refresh towels. TV in the living room and the bedroom. We had a hire car, but found it difficult to explore the Island as that meant we had to leave the Villa :)! You just want to stay and enjoy it!! A really nice beach is just 10 minutes drive away - and if you head the other direction to Rethymno, its just as lovely for dinner and exploring. The little Town in Gerani, which is about 5-10 minutes walk away, has lovely tavernas with delicious food. But we also stayed in the Villa and made our own dinner and enjoyed the evening outside with a bottle of wine. And about previous reviews i read about the Beds that are too soft: I have chronic back pain and only just had a fresh slipped disc in my spine a few months ago. So i was a bit worried when i read the reviews where people said the bed was too soft. However, we found the bed absolutely comfortable and great. Soft but not too bad! No issues with my back at all! Kallia made our stay just perfect. She was so responsive, usually got a response within a minute of texting her when i had a question whilst we were there. Thank you very much for your hospitality and we are in no doubt coming back!!!

“Amazing”

Very clean, amazing view, very polite staff, privacy - everything you need for a great vacation. The small village is authentic - has nice restaurant and a good bakery.

The terrace is stunning, amazing pool and view! The kitchen was really well equipped and had everything we needed. The apartment was really clean and comfortable and the internet tvs a great addition so the kids could log into our Netflix some evenings

The privacy, the facilities and the attention to detail in terms of the little things that were included to make staying very comfortable. The staff were lovely as was the village just a short walk away. For a livelier experience, Rethymno is a short taxi away. Beaches were amazing.
