Ilias Seaside House is a 5-star place with a 7-star host. Thank you Ilias for all!!! Staying at your place was one of the best experiences we had during our trip to Crete and one of the best places we have stayed at ever!

The host Mr Ilia’s, was incredibly kind and helpful, always making sure we had everything we needed. The house was spotless, in perfect condition, and exactly as shown in the photos. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to find complimentary wine, water, and croissants, a lovely touch that made us feel very welcome. The location is very convenient, by car, you can reach the center of Rethymno within minutes, while walking to the city is also a wonderful experience with amazing views that we truly enjoyed. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet, ideal for relaxing, and there are supermarkets and restaurants nearby for anything you might need. What really stood out to me, even as a local citizen, was how genuine the hospitality felt. The host wasn’t simply focused on making money, but truly cared about making sure we had the best possible stay. This is something rare and very much appreciated. We would definitely recommend this place!

“A great holiday in a very spacious and cozy apartment !!!!”

It was an amazing holiday at Ilias house. Ilias, the host, was very helpful with all kind of information about the places to visit, bar beaches, restaurants, even he helped us with reservation. The apartment was fully equipped: the kitchen has everything that you need, including dishwasher, maybe an coffee machine as nesspresso would be better to find in; in the bathroom you will find also the washing machine and caps for it, Also, the apartment has a big terrace and two balconies for each floor. If I will return to Rethymno, I will definitely go to Ilias apartment.

Everything was to like, EVERYTHING! Ilia was such an amazing and kind host that I almost lack the words to describe it. So forthcoming, caring, kind and warmhearted that it was a joy staying at his place. The apartment was pitch perfect, he was available for us don't matter the time of the day (or night), and he gave us ample of advices where to go and what to visit. Ilia is a true embodiment of Greek values and personalities, and you'll not regret staying there, for a second.

The beach was so close to the apartment I went to bed listening to the sound of waves. The apartment is in a peaceful district, hidden among other building so it's quiet around. At the same time, a big supermarket, shops and good restaurants are within a walking distance. The apartment itself was very spacious and comfortable; we had all cooking utensils, iron, washing machine, we could eat meals on a patio outside. Our host Ilias and his family made sure we had everything and even more, including tons of candies :D We were welcomed warmly and gifted homemade products - that was such a nice touch. Thank you, Ilias!

“Fantastic apartment with a very helpful and friendly host”

The apartment actually exceeded our expectations and looked better than the pictures shown on the booking site. The apartment had all the necessities you could think of (dishwasher, smart-TV, air conditioner in all rooms etc). Ilias was also a very gracious host and helped us fix a cab for our way back to the airport and was also very quick to answer if we had any questions in general. He also left us a welcome gift in the form of their own olive oil as well as white win and raki which was very much appreciated :) The apartment was very close to the beach and also had several good lunch restaurants close by. Ilias also helped us so that we could use the pool of a nearby hotel if we wanted to. We travelled with a baby and Ilias fixed both a baby crib and baby seat which was very handy.
