“This was the first hotel that deserves the 10 rating”

I don’t understand why this hotel does not have a 9+ rating on booking. This was a 10 for sure for us. We felt it from the first day and even after a few days we were even more convinced that it is a 10. I will wrote a few things we liked and also address some of the negative I read in the previous review that I don’t understand. Great things: - sandy beach with clear water. Some people were complaining that there are stones and pebbles on the beach. Well, this is 99% of Greece, stones and pebbles beaches. This was way better than what we usually experience in Greece. - the pools were great for children but also for adults that are older. They had steps not stairs to enter the pool. Bonus is the fact that the pool is less with chorine and more salty water. More healthy. - the service was unbelievable from the minute we arrived until we left. Every tiny thing we said we didn’t pike they change it immediately or if they couldn’t they would give us something in return. For example we did not know that any drink including water had a cost during dinners. When we said we did not know, they explained and they offered all water for free for that night for our table. Plus the first night they gave us free beer because the forgot to put a baby cot in the room which they immediately changed once we said - the food was spectacular for a half board. New desserts every day. Sushi night. Pizza with a great oven every day. Variety every day. Some people complained in other reviews about the food, well…, you really have to be picky to not find things to like. And again, this is a buffet restaurant. For a buffet it was awesome. - rooms are new and with a spectacular view - close to a cute old town with a harbor - the overall area is well kept with tons of flowers and tres - a special pool and area for kids with shows and food for the kids. Also, they gave free food for our baby at lunch.

“Beautiful hotel, excellent staff, close to the beach”

Really pleased with the staff - everyone was helpful, friendly, courteous, and responded quickly to requests. Location was fine - easy access to the beach, Beach bar was very good Good facilities, great little shops on site including a mini market Wonderful breakfasts, although the queue for the fresh egg station took 15-20 mins twice Very clean everywhere, very well looked after, good maintenance and condition.

Beautiful hotel with super friendly helpful staff and excellent service. Extremely clean and well maintained. Beautiful beach and nice pool. Great view. Tasty buffet in a restaurant that is spacious but cosy.

My daughter and I had the most amazing stay at this hotel. Staff brilliant, facilities exactly what we were looking for - fantastic for running which we both enjoy - only about 1km through town then on to the promenade. Pool area great for relaxing and swimming, as well as the beach club. Food was incredible. All in all a great stay. Thank you

À nice breakfast buffet and the garden is lovely. I enjoyed the silk painting activity at the Atelier lead by Mr Paris. The conciergerie was really efficient. The night events at the palace were really good.

“A lovely and enjoyable week, great location.”

Breakfast choice was excellent. However, the only downside was certain places in the courtyard experienced direct sun. You have to ensure you are sitting at a shady table. The nightly entertainment was varied and enjoyable. The Adriane restaurant was excellent. There were plenty of sun loungers available and always fresh beach towels available.

“The hotel needs renovation”

The staff was well trained!

n the room the air conditioner was humming continuously the entire time; we could not open the balcony or window. There was also a loud, constant buzzing noise coming from the neighboring building. Despite our many appeals, the hotel did not address the situation — it would have been enough to repair or replace the very simple air conditioning unit. The service was appalling; during our entire stay we could not sleep at all. We were accommodated in the worst part of the hotel.

The beach was great and generally the food was nice. The staff were friendly but there was no consistency of service. Different housekeeping standards by day. Sometimes no water was given and they also left a massive ant nest unaddressed for us to find in our bedroom.

The staff are exceptional at this hotel, from the moment we arrived until the end it was the highest level. Nothing was an issue and the communication was responsive and helpful.
