“Excellent host, spacious apartment and great location in Rethymno old town”

Petros was an exceptionally warm, helpful and generous host and exceeded our expectations. He was waiting for us upon our arrival, provided all the necessary instructions and answered questions, was later available by Whatsapp or phone. We arrived late in the evening and he was very kind to provide some food / fruits / water for a start. When our daughter fell ill he kindly arranged a doctor visit. We had an extended stay and he also arranged several cleanings of the apartment. Lots of space for our family of 4. We enjoyed the rooftop terrace. It could be a bit challenging walking up the stairs for seniors. Yet it was not an issue for us even with our 2 kids. Kitchen is fully equipped to prepare your own meals for breakfasts etc. 3 air conditioning units. Great location right next to the old town center yet quiet, picturesque street with little traffic. 15-20 minutes walk to a free beach. Church bells ringing throughout the day but not bothersome with the windows closed.

Casa di Sofia was a lovely apartment in the heart of the Old Town - the location was amazing - just off the centre of the action, so you could escape the crowds. Our hosts Sofia and Petros were possibly the best hosts we have had. The met us at their coffee/chocolate shop around 2 minutes walk from the property. We were greeted with delicious ice creams and taken to the apartment. Our hosts provided us with some treats and items such as wine, fruit and other items which was nice of them. The apartment was nicely furnished with amazing aircon in the bedrooms and sitting room - very much needed after being out in the heat. Wifi is strong and there is a nice terrace to sit on or dry clothes in the sun. The beach is 10 mins walk away and fantastic restaurants are literally 1-2 mins walk. It was a perfect apartment for us - 2 adults and a 16 and 15 year old. Our hosts also gave us lovely gifts when we departed - all in all a brilliant stay in a lovely town.

A beautiful home situated in the heart of the stunning Venetian old town, perfectly situated for an easy walk to the beach and for easy access to all of the shops. The photographs don’t show how nice this property is. It is a clean traditional Cretan home with a modern bathroom and all the amenities such as washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, sandwich toaster etc. The air conditioning works very well in each room and the Wi-Fi is excellent. Satelite TV was a bonus. Petros is an excellent host who is genuinely very willing to help and is very generous.

Location couldn't have been better. Everything was nearby. Almost all in the house was just recently renovated very nicely. I could definitely consider this accommodation again when coming next time to Rethymnon.

Top location. The premises are situated in the old time. It is very comfortable, perfect for families and quite. Parking places around. The communication with the owners is fast. You will receive any information needed within a few minutes. Very, very polite and nice people.

We stayed at Casa Di Sofia for one week and really had the best time there. Everything was perfect, from the communication with property’s owner (Petros literally is the best host you can wish for), to the facilities provided by the villa. We highly recommend it! Also, Crete is one of those “can’t wait to come back” places, with such lovely people, excellent cuisine, history and perfect weather (at least in June). This place has everything you need for a perfect holiday in Greece!

Excellent location. The apartment is very quiet and a great place to sleep. Excellent facilities - there is everything including laundry tablets. Very clean, inexpensive parking nearby and great local restaurants. Great contact with the owner. He is a very positive and helpful person. I highly recommend!

We realy enjoy in Patros house. It is in heart of old town Rethymno, even better look that you can see on photos. Petros was very very good host. We had good instructions how to find property .In house there was welcoming fruits, wine, wother, tost, coffie… We had extra towels, in meantime sweets… Fantastic stay in Rethymno and higly recommandation for our amazing host. incredible location, right in the centre of the old town but just far enough for it to be very quiet and peaceful. Petros was incredibly kind, generous and helpful. It was the perfect end to our holiday. Beautiful roof terrace.

“Perfect place to stay in Rethymnon old town”

Petros, the owner met us on our arrival, walking us to the property and allowed us to drop off our bags prior to the property being ready. We were also given a lovely welcome package and a gift on departure. I was able to message Petros when I needed some advice and he was extremely helpful. Him and his family went over and above what you would expect from a holiday rental, they were very friendly, kind hosts. The house is even nicer than the photos show. We would definitely return to this property when we next return to Rethymnon. Thanks Petros.

“Great location very clean and comfortable”

Casa di Sofia is a recently refurbished traditional old house in the historic centre of the city. The house was sparking clean and had a great layout: the kitchen was big with all the necessary appliances big and small, the living room was very comfortable with enough sitting area for our big family, but it was also far from the bedrooms, so we could stay and chat after the kids went to bed. The host, Petros, went out of his way to make us feel comfortable: he left lots of food, fruits, and water in the fridge, he gave us useful tips about places to go and things to avoid in Rethymno, he even gave us a farewell gift of super tasty and healthy snacks (energy balls and stuffed dates) when it was time to leave.
