Overview
This former Venetian lord’s house is situated in Rethymnon’s Old Town. Avli Lounge Apartments offer charming suites, a rooftop terrace with hot tub and fine dining. Each uniquely decorated suite at Avli Lounge Apartments is equipped with free internet, TV with CD player and spa bath. Guests may choose between the 460 wine labels in the Fusion Enoteca, accompanied by delicious dishes. The on-site restaurant serves Cretan and Mediterranean cuisine, while a Greek breakfast including homemade flavours is also served daily. The Executive Suite with Spa Bath offers bathtub or walk-in shower included, subject to availability. Optional on demand services of Avli Lounge Apartments include transport to and from the airport and port, guided tours and cooking lessons. Please note that: our rooftop jacuzzi is currently out of order, due to reconstruction.

“Lovely place to stay in the old town”
Lovely hotel in a characterful building and with a great location in a very attractive part of the old town. Parking was close and easy. Communication was good and the staff kind and welcoming. Room was modern, spotlessly clean and comfortable. Breakfast in the beautiful courtyard garden was fabulous - I’m sorry we didn’t get to visit the Avli restaurant, but we did eat at Raki ba Raki.

The extremely friendly staf! The location in the centre is very nice. They have 2 restaurants and a bar and all of them are beautifully decorated. Would recommend Avli for sure!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel in the heart of Rethymno’s Old Town. The rooms were spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. Breakfast was a real highlight – served in a peaceful courtyard that felt like a hidden garden. The food was excellent, and the service exceptional. The team remembered our preferences (e.g. gluten-free bread) after just one day and had everything ready for us the coming days without needing to ask again. All the staff were warm and welcoming – we felt genuinely looked after throughout our stay. A special thank you goes to Nikos at the reception – his friendliness, helpfulness, and local tips were much appreciated. We highly recommend this hotel, especially for couples and families exploring Rethymno. We would happily return.

It has beautiful very large classically decorated rooms, each one different. Large comfortable bed with a mattress topper which you don’t find often, and lots of atmospheric lighting. A wonderful breakfast is included served in the restaurant garden.

“3 days holiday in Rethymno”
One of the most beautiful hotels in Greece. It was like living in a small palace!! Upon arrival they gave us an upgrade to a junior suite. The receptionist Nikos and Stelios were always there to solve all your problems and suggest places to visit or restaurants! The breakfast was amazing. The hotel has everything you need and its in the center of the old town. The car parking ( with an extra fee) makes your holiday easier!! We will surely go back there again sometime!!
