“Highly recommend”
A friendly welcome and plenty of information with good communication made our stay here wonderful. The house is quiet, clean and full of character. With a friend joining us, we made full use of the excellent kitchen and lounge, plus the outdoor courtyard and used the town of Requena as our base to explore some truly gorgeous countryside. (Requena is a non-touristy town with many quirks. This means its more cost effective than other areas to stay. If you have a car and want an easy base where you can travel and enjoy sightseeing, I highly recommend you stay at Ca La Abuela)

Absolutely perfect apartment. Very clean. The kitchen has everything you need. Great staff! Friendly and helpful host Alvaro. Absolutely wonderful, beautiful and cozy old town. We recommend!

“Very pleasant and comfortable. Feeling like home for two days :)”
Very clean, comfortable and had almost everything. Beds extremely comfortable!! No noise around, quiet nights. Everything to survive 2-3 days was already there (coffee, sugar, cocoa powder..and toilettries).

“Great kitchen, loved the location. Peaceful and relaxing”
Full kitchen and all the utensils, best we ever had while staying in a house. Alvaro was always a text way and him mum showed us around, which was not needed. The house is in the old town in Requena with some excellent restaurants and a wine shop nearby.

“Beautiful old town house”
Ca La Abuela is a lovely refurbished house right in the old town of Requena. Very comfortable with a fully equipped kitchen including oils spices tea coffee etc. It was an ideal base for the nearby Tomatina in Buñol. Álvaro was most helpful.

“Beautiful & Relaxing Weekend Getaway”
The host Alvaro was so helpful and always available via WhatsApp if you had any questions. The moment you stepped through the door, you felt at home with the most beautifully decorated townhouse and a nicely chilled bottle of wine waiting for you. The house had all the facilities you could think of, the beds were so comfortable and the location couldn't have been better. So peaceful and quiet, and right in the centre of the old town, with amazing restaurants and wine tasting experiences only a minute away from the house. We are desperate to go back!

So many extras provided. Milk, coffee, toast even laundry detergent. And the bed was so comfortable and heating! Wow! Perfect!

“perfect”
the house is just perfect. very clean and cosy and decorated in a very thoughtful way. appreciated the heating and the fact the the kitchen had all the essentials like tea, coffee, condiments and oil, so we didn’t need to buy it. We had a great time and will surely come back again.
