“A hotel I know from many years experience & find reliable if not perfect to my taste.”
The Remscheider Hof Hotel used to be a luxury hotel but was converted to a "Sport hotel" about 10 years ago. So carpeting and small fridges in rooms were removed and hard floors and gym equipment were installed in their place. The main bar and room decor is more of an "industrial look" these days. A wide selection of hot & cold food is available for breakfast but some might consider it a little expensive, but you can at least to make a good start for the day. Hot food is available 6 evenings per week until approx 9 pm and the hotel produces its own brand "Remscheider brau" beer which is pretty decent quality. The bar and hot food is closed on Sunday evenings. The hotel is saituated close to the local train station and a large number of bus routes pass outside so transort is not really a problem. The hotel has a small open car park whcih can get pretty cramped and a small underground car park is available for a fee. The town centre is approx 7-8 minutues walk away. Staff are generally friendly and approachable.

The Hotel is nice and comfortable. Clean, very small free parking space. Dinner, Restaurant perfect for German food.

Location is great, friendly staff, nicely decorated room, comfortable bathroom, safe parking in the underground parking (with a free EV-charger as an extra big plus). Their beer (from their own brewery) is very nice!
