Set in the winter-sport resort of Reit im Winkl, this Alpine-style hotel enjoys panoramic views of the Bavarian Alps. Menkenhof offers ski storage as well as free Wi-Fi. The double rooms are light with large windows, a wooden décor, and an en-suite bathroom. The self-catering apartments have a fully equipped kitchen, a balcony and a flat-screen TV. The double rooms can only be booked without breakfast Menkenhof has a large garden with a private pond, and a children’s playground is located 100 metres away. Cross-country skiing and a tobbogan run start just 50 metres from the hotel. Free parking is available and the A8 motorway is 20 km away. Reit im Winkl is accessible from the famous German Alpine Road (B305) which connects the Bavarian Alps.

“Perfect stay for couples and families traveling either for skiing or hiking in the Alps”
This place is what one imagines/dreams of when deciding to travel to Bavaria: it has its distinctive local charisma, very cosy, atmospheric and nice all around. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, there is everything one might need; the hosts are very friendly and helpful. We traveled by public transport (train+bus) and they picked us up and then dropped off on the days of arrival/departure. It is a nice walk to the town center with beautiful scenery of the Alps.
