“Wow a hidden Gem 😊”
Wow what a hidden Gem. From the minute we walked in the staff were friendly and polite 😊, room and bed very comfortable and the set menu in the restaurant served by the friendly owner and his team was the icing on the cake. Delicious home cooked food with wine and a beer at 16 euros pp. great bike storage too inside the hotel.

Wonderful overnight stay on way to Santander ferry. Easy parking outside. Very friendly staff, comfortable clean room with modern bathroom, good breakfast and easy walking to other facilities in town.

“A little gem”
This is an absolutely lovely, family-run hotel in a handsome building just a very short walk from the town centre. Our room (junior suite with balcony) was spacious, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We also enjoyed an excellent dinner in the hotel restaurant, beautiful home-cooked food and great service. We were made to feel very welcome and have no hesitation in recommending this little gem of a hotel.

What a gem! A characterful hotel but with modern amenities in the centre of this delightful small town. Great welcome and helpful attention from proprietor Paco. Dinner on hotel restaurant was tasty, nicely presented and excellent value We thoroughly recommend Hotel Son Roque - we would be happy to return anytime

What a wonderful stay at Hotel San Roque. Parking is only on street but we had no issues in finding a parking space. The hotel has various classic and vintage elements which I love. Even considering the language barrier, the staff was friendly and they did everything they could for a warm welcome. And the breakfast was included, which as a great surprise. The hotel also is a restaurant which I had no chance to try but seems very good and popular as well. Location is perfect! Just outskirt the old town centre, one can walk everywhere and see the beautiful murals around the town. for dog / pet owners, there's a area nearby (out of the hotel to the right, cross the road and right again, an open plot with grass - W3W: ///aflutter.wishes.viewed) for toilet. Also a nice "park" (Parque de Las Fuentes) farther. I'm really in love with the city and looking forward to return and spend a few nights.

“A small friendly character hotel in the town, offering good value.”
I chose this hotel as an overnight before catching the boat to England from Santander. The hotel is situated in the town center and is a traditional building with character. The room was a good size, quiet and with free Wi-Fi. The restaurant offered a good menu and breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking was available in the street outside the hotel. Overall very good value.
