i love this hotel! It preserves the "history" but renovated super well!! The room is very clean! I feel everything is shining when I walked into the room! It's classy and not your usual chain hotel! The indoor heated pool is also very nice! I would love to stay in this hotel soon!

The FOOD. EXCEPTIONAL breakfast, lunch and dinner. BEST in all of Delmarva. Parrots are a great touch of fun and are an attraction of their own.

“Disappointed”
The staff at the restaurant in hotel was not friendly. Upon arrival wanted to have lunch with lots of tables open and was told no reservations then you don’t get table I said we are staying at hotel and they still wouldn’t give us a table until I complained at front desk. The next day we made reservations at 11:00 for lunch. Would only serve us breakfast but 15 min later gave the table next to us lunch. Had to ask for tea cup many times and just ingnored us. For the money this hotel charge I should of been treated so much differently Very disappointed

“Great hotel, lots of antiques, excellent service.”
The hotel was right on the beach, full of antiques, including in the rooms, & the food/service for breakfast was great. The parrots in the lobby was a special treat. My wife’s comment was that she would like to work there as a maid do she could visit all the rooms.

Victoria’s outside seating looking at the ocean was beautiful the food was great We had room service for breakfast and ate on our balcony one day Also had dinner there also and Sunday brunch the service was friendly

The restaurant was sold out, but the hostess asked the manager if I could be seated.(Brunch). They were very accommodating.
