Great escape!

Beautiful and peaceful little gem! I loved my stay here. 15 minutes walk to restaurants area. Amazing beach just 3 steps from your tent. One of the best campsites I’ve stayed. Nice staff! Definitely recommend!

It could not have been more relaxing.

A small, beautifully decorated camp run by very kind-hearted people, located in one of the most beautiful places on earth. Just rent some goggles and go snorkeling, and you’ll discover sea turtles and plenty of colorful fish.

It’s on the way to becoming a little haven. Other campers were lovely as well.

A Rare Family Escape!

This campstay was magic. We checked in where there were only a couple of people , making the island feel entirely ours—a private, untouched escape. The nature was stunning: the sea teemed with sea cucumbers, and the pristine white sand was incredibly clean. Thanks to the kitchen fascilities, the trip felt completely comfortable, just like home. Additional tips: Just like a regular camping trip, do ensure you pack the following personal supplies: instant food and immediate snacks for arrival. Coffee, tea, and other hot beverage sachets/supplies. All personal toiletries (shampoo, soap, conditioner, toothbrush, etc.) To enjoy the beautiful seabed safely, we highly recommend bringing water shoes! The sea floor has many corals, and protective footwear is essential for a comfortable and injury-free experience.

We had the best time here. The nicest people run this place and built it themselves.

Pros: -Clean tents that protect you fully when it rains -Comfortable firm mattresses -Right on the beach (can snorkel steps away from the tents) -So many places to chill in the shade -Full kitchen, fridge coming soon -delicious cafe open for breakfast and dinner with home cooked western and Malaysian food -Water taxi to tourist points on the island -Free drinking water -Charging station

Basic campstay on remote beach

Great little getaway in nature, suitable for people who are prepared to disconnect from the rest of the world. Tent for two people had a comfortable mattress and pillow and bottom sheet, no blanket provided (though a blanket wasn’t needed as it was so hot). Tent withstood torrential rain on the first night too. Nice hammocks and beach chairs over the property for relaxation time. Beach at the front of the property is nice for a swim at high tide, but quite ugly at low tide with lots of old cement and rocks out of the water. Long beach (about 20 minutes away) was nice for a swim in the day time. The mini Maldives (sand bank) could be accessed with 15RM per person one way. Also, another magnificent private beach located south (30 minutes rock hopping). The toilet and shower facilities worked well, with cold and private showers. No toilet paper provided (so make sure to bring your own). Kitchen facilities were good with many gas cooktops, filtered hot and cold water, no fridge. No wifi at the property. There were noodles and cold drinks for sale and it looks like there will be a cafe on site soon (not yet open). Closest restaurant was about a 20 minute walk, with many restaurants at long beach accepting card as well (no ATM on island). Convenience store with lots of non-perishable food and ice cream located at Laguna Redang Beach Resort (about 20 mins). Overall, a great stay to relax. Over priced for Malaysian standards and with the very basic facilities but pretty good value compared to everything else on the island.

Right on the beach, you can just jump in and snorkel. Staff were very helpful. Please bring food if you're coming here, there isn't a general store close by and it's about 1-2km to the resort restaurants. I will be coming here again it's a palatial paradise
