It's literally on a deserted beach with a stunning view of the ocean . Run by genuinely lovely and helpful people . Away from the commercial resort but not so far if you need to pop up and get supplies .

We loved the peaceful and laidback atmosphere, the sandy beach and the calm sea just in front of the tents and wooden huts… it’s a perfect mix to relax and get rid of all the stress of daily life. The staff and the volunteers made a real plus: so genuinely helpful and welcoming that you really feel at home and pleased with such basic accomodation, there’s no need for more!

“unique campstay close to nature”

The staff was so welcoming & well organised. I could text them beforehand in order to receive more information about the camp. They sent me the address for the jetty to rendang island and booked a spot for me. I didn't have any problems to get to the island. The bamboo had a cozy mattress and two pillows so I slept really well. I could even see the sunrise from bed. During the day I was relaxing in different hamocks or in the bamboo house (it wasn't so hot in the bamboo luckily), went swimming, snorkeling and I took long walks at the beach. It was so relaxing. I also got to know other travelers and we all went to long beach together to have dinner and watch the fire show. Bring enough cash to the island. There's no ATM. There's a small shop that sells bread, instant noodles and chips for example but they don't sell rice or fresh vegetables so just buy it beforehand, that's easy. The kitchen is nice, they've got lots of kitchen utensils and after traveling for a while I've really missed cooking. Had such a great time, felt so close to nature and can't wait to come back someday!!

“Amazing time in Redang Camp”

There are 2 guys who are responsible for the camp and they are amazing! They help where they can and they keep the camp very clean. They speak very good English! I Also the welcoming is very lovely. The boys helped us carrying our bags from the board and offered a cool water during the check in! You can also sit together with them in the evening and talk. One of the guys plays guitar and sings. The place is extremely quiet, you hear and see only other guests and the beautiful nature! The toilets and showers are very clean and have toilet paper available, which is not usual in Malaysia. There are a lot of hamats to relax, nice chairs made out of weels and nice decorations, such as surf boards in front of the toilets! In front of the camp stop a lot of boats for snorkling, you can just swim there and snorkel too. There is a kitchen where you can cook and drinking water as much as you want!
