Very beautiful hotel. Nice and clean room with neat bathroom. Lovely pool! We liked the garden and cats around too. Breakfast was good! Amazingly friendly staff who all speak English. Location ideal since outside of the centre, but easy access to busses and shops.

“Good price, good room but risky area”

The room was clean and big enough, the windows opened into an inner garden. This was the first place in Brazil where the staff mostly spoke in english, the login was easy and quick. They also helped me in my personal issues to be resolved. I only spent there 1 night and left early for my plane, it is perfect for this purpose.

We did like absolutely everything, Staff ,both sisters ( owners) absolutely amazingly friendly and kind,,location is very good, accommodation very comfortable and nice size of room ,,lovely huge bathroom in nice classy style. My son loved pool and really nice garden with lots of greens . Breakfast was one of the best of all Pousadas in Brasil I have ever seen. Internet ,everywhere nice strong signal ...near Pousada lovely recommended restaurant Mangai 😋 ,,pizzeria and few more shops with just steps away...thank you all for a lovely experience with you and definitely we will be back... 🤗

“Great stay!”

The staff was very polite and treat us very well! Every morning we had to leave very early, because we were scuba diving and they managed to arrange a meal for us, before the breakfast starts . If you go for scuba diving, I really recommend this place! The place is beautiful, full of plants and decorations Cristiane is very kind!

Such a lovely pousada. Complete with lots of friendly cats and a dog. Super friendly staff who made me feel very welcome. The pousada feels like you are set in nature and Pina beach was just 7mins walk away.

“Great pousada”

This is a great place in Recife. The garden is beautiful with so many large trees and plants. Our room was comfortable and clean. Linens and towels were clean. Shower was hot and wifi was good. Breakfast was very good with a lot of choices. The owner is very nice and helpful and speaks excellent English. The location is great, just a short, safe walk to the beach, restaurants and a grocery store.

The breakfast is simple but very tasty. The staff is very polite and helpful, and they take care of cute and friendly cats. The decoration of the building is amazing, and they have a gorgeous garden. It was raining all the time and our stay was short, but we will definitely go back to Casuarinas whenever we visit Recife again!

“Peaceful city oasis”

The team of pousada Casuarinas is simply sweet! Extremely attentive, happy to help and friendly. We specially loved the breakfast, that is mostly made at the hotel kitchen by a lovely 80 year old cook. The breakfast is a perfect mix of international staples, and specialities from this region. The rooms were clean and tidy, with daily cleanings and fresh towels. The staff went beyond my expectations to make sure we felt welcome. From speaking English with my partner who does not speak Portuguese, to giving recommendations of things to see, do and eat. It was lovely to wake up in the morning with the little monkeys at the top of the fruit threes in the property, trying to eat fresh mangos. The hotel is super close to the beach - walkable distance to Pina and Boa Viagem beach - and buses to get to the city center are just 5 minutes away by foot.

Location is perfect - quiet and lovely decor. Our room was perfect, with a seating area outside and next to the pool. We loved the cats and dogs too. Owners were welcoming and helpful. Great breakfast in lovely garden area.
