“The best hosts you will ever meet”
Muriel and Lionel are the perfect hosts! They welcomed us with chilled beer in their beautiful garden. If you stay here, you feel like you're staying at friends you've known for a long time. There is also a lovely italian restaurant just around the corner.

Lovely greeting by the owners and very helpful and welcoming in every way. Room was beautiful and bathroom fantastic and spacious. We had a drink with the owners before going out for a meal and they were so friendly and their cats super friendly and cute. We will go back again another time.

I believe this is the first time I have ever given a completely unconditional positive review and more than happy to give it now. This renovated 17th Century house with it's expansive gardens combined with welcoming hosts Muriel & Lionel is really worth a visit; we were given "The Africa Room", beautifully decorated, comfortable and spacious and while we didn't view the other rooms I have no doubt they are equally well presented. The breakfast was excellent and I can recommend Muriel's homemade yoghurt with chestnut puree.

The staff were kind and extremely helpful. They took a lot of time drive and meet me 40km away to give me my glasses , after I had left them at the B&B. Also their English language was perfect. They were interested and interesting. The house was just perfect. A lovely old manor house saved and brought back to it's past glory.
