Overview
Hotel La Giara is 300 metres from the free public beach in the Mulinetti area. Set between Via Aurelia and the Genoa - La Spezia railway, it is about 1 km from the centre of Recco. Parking is free. La Giara is an Art Nouveau building with large, furnished terrace overlooking the Paradiso Gulf and Mount Portofino. All rooms are air-conditioned and offer free Wi-Fi and views of the sea. All rooms feature parquet floors. Facilities include a cooling fan, heating, and a kettle. The prepackaged continental breakfast in special containers is provided in the room where there is also a coffee machine and cappuccino with pods. It can be consumed both in the room and in the outdoor area.

Nice hotel just in front of the sea. Owners allowed us to check in earlier which was really appreciated so we could go off to Portofino and save some time.

The location is very conveniently located with plenty of parking which is not easy to have in this area. The owner is super friendly and he upgraded us to a room with balcony and an ocean view which is stunning. It's a 700m walk along the water front into the center from the hotel. It's a perfect stay 10/10!! I recommend this place highly and I would stay here again for sure. Best spot!

“We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel La Giara!”
There is a fantastic view, of course, and a great rocky beach nearby. But besides we also liked the room: quite big, super clean, with lots of light and simple, but new and stylish furniture, the AC, the fan, the coffee machine and minibar - all worked as it has to. And the people are really nice and helpful: whatever we needed, they were there for us. Grazie mille!

“Cosy and unique experience”

We had a room with a view ... ... and a small balcony over a railway line overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. The air-conditioner was okay. Room was very clean. No carpets on the floor. Walking from the hotel along the coast to Recco town center was lovely.

“A good no frills hotel with parking”
The room with the small terrace and the views made the staying quite enjoyable. No restaurant or bar on site but close to the beach and the village centre. Taxi rank in town if you don't feel like walking on the way back.

Very clean hotel, super nice and helpful staff who knew a lot about the area and activities. Perfect location and amazing view. Recco and the rocky beach at walking distance from the property.
