“A wonderful hotel with a great location and amazing staff, representing fantastic value for money on the Amalfi coast.”

Location was amazing, with amazing value for money considering how close it is to popular locations on the Amalfi coast. There are bus stops directly outside the hotel that go in 3 directions (towards Amalfi, Maiori and Ravello). The hotel itself is incredibly beautiful and set into the side of the cliff overlooking the water, with incredible views from the room and restaurant. The included breakfast was fantastic and the staff were all friendly and helpful; we were made to feel like part of the family and I don’t think anything we could have asked would have been too much!

“Superb location”

Location was stunning but the booking dot com rooms were a long way down would have upgraded if I was aware. Bathrooms really small and needed updating.

Views were absolutely stunning, room was perfect size for two & the bed was comfy. We did not have a balcony but were able to open windows & sit in the alcove. The hotel is beautiful & cut into the stone wall & the staff were accommodating & lovely. Lots of stairs which we were ok with, private swimming deck with layback chairs & sup boards to use. Fantastic food, breakfast was great & dinner was so yummy!

I loved everything about Hotel Villa San Michele. This is a family owned and run hotel and the pride in their business is evident. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the rooms are very comfortable. Being able to swim in the beautiful water every day was such a treat. The food was fresh, local and prepared to perfection!

Beautiful room with sea view. Staff were very friendly, helpful and cheerful. Breakfast was excellent and the evening meals in the hotel lovely. The SITA bus stops right outside the hotel, which is convenient for getting along the coast. The terraces with lemon trees and flowers would be a great place to sit, if the sun was shining. Great to be away from the main tourist spots.

If it is possible to give this hotel 12 out of 10, then please do. The hotel, all the staff and the facilities are unmatched anywhere. The restaurant dinner meal was absolutely to die for. Best meal ever and the waiters were good humoured and very attentive. Staff also assisted to move the baggage up and down many flights of stairs while they had a power outage. Awesome service!!

This is the most perfect place to stay when visiting the coast. The hotel in itself and the views are so beautiful that you don't even have to leave the place to have a wonderful experience. The staff was super nice (especially the waiter at the restaurant, sad that I didn't ask him for his name because he was truly exceptional!). The location is perfect - you can walk to Amalfi in 20 minutes, but there's also the bus stop right outside the front door to take you there or to other cities in the coast. They also offer parking which is a big big plus because parking on the coast is very complicated and very - very - expensive! I really really recommend this place :)

“Going to sleep to the gentle sound of waves”

Such a perfect place with amenable hosts, the cleaner does an amazing job and the breakfast host was wonderful - nice dog too!!

So impressed by the family run small hotel, everyone was very helpful and make you feel so relax . The food was so good, delicate flavours and a good wine list. I wish I would have stayed more than one night. The vue from the room is exceptional

Great view from balcony. Excellent food, all meals served including breakfast. Very peaceful surroundings, slept well. Parking was not required. All the plunbing and air conditioning worked.

Great view. Privacy when desired, but could socialize with other guests if desired. Staff was super friendly and helpful. A family-run business, I think, that feels like home but without the work to do. Location is perfect. Close enough to Amalfi town - 8 minutes by bus which runs regularly. A great spot to avoid the crowds when you want, but be in the crowds and get on boats to other towns within 30 minutes by going to Amalfi town and buying boat tickets.
