Good view. It was good to be able to open the windows and let the fresh air in. Dinner was plentiful. The crab legs were pretty tasty.

I really liked the half board arrangements where they serve the guests authentic old school Japanese meals for breakfast and dinner. The room was big and clean. It even came with a Seaview!

Really spatious hotel room. Half board included in the room price. Very nice Japanese dinner and nice selection of Japanese and Western-style breakfast. Although there was no private shower/bath adjacent to the hotel room, there was a wash basin and a toilet available.

Not many hotels in Rausu can be booked online by foreigners. Good location for the drift ice cruise departure at Rausu port. Good local Japanese breakfast and dinner. But you have to pre-order.

The view from main building is fine depending your room facing. I can see sunrise from my room. Can’t see sunset even from rooftop of the new building. My room is tatami, need to set up bedding on your own. Weird sofa in our room that block my access to window. The condition is really bad. Totally sink in type. Doesn’t fit the room decor at all. The fridge has a plastic bottle for guest to use but it’s damaged so carpet get wet. Staffs are fine but not English. So do get ready your app for translation. We happens to be serve by a staff who’s from Sri Lanka so she’s able to speak English. Early checkin is charged by hourly jpy1000. Water tax or something also charged on the spot. There is only a convenient shop Seicomart nearby. That’s all no restaurant except hotel dine in. It’s pretty far from rausu port need to drive or take public transport. About bus travel time is 20mins to reach Akan rausu bus terminal office.

I liked the old style interior.

Friendly staff and the meals are homely and delicious.

Would expect the beds are set up in the evening.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Good location right at the sea with viewing platform. Convenience store next door. 6 minutes by car from central Rausu. Our room provided sea view. We saw a fox in front of our window.

Beautiful location and a very nice host. Stunning view over the ocean with birds like harlequin ducks and pelagic cormorants just swimming and resting in front of the hotel.
