“A comfortable stay in a perfect location for exploring Rausu and Shiretoko.”
We stayed in Rausu for two nights and had a wonderful experience. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were kind and helpful. The location is excellent, close to the trails leading to Mount Rausu and to the harbour, where boat tours depart for whale and orca watching or coastal cruises to observe brown bears. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Everything was comfortable and spotlessly clean and the location was perfect. The host was very friendly and arranged a taxi for me early the first morning, when I was still not familiar with the layout of the town and had an early boat trip pre-booked.

The owner was friendly and engaging and helpful. The rooms were warm and comfortable and the shared facilities (bathrooms and toilets) clean and well maintained. There was no breakfast provided, but we did make use of the kitchen facilities where toast and tea and coffee was provided.
