I’ve stayed in many different countries around the world, but this is undoubtedly one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. Although I visited during Easter, which isn’t really good time for sightseeing, the hosts were incredibly kind in every way. Thanks to them, I was able to fully appreciate the charm of the area. I sincerely hope to stay here again.

The location is peaceful and quiet. We went during early summer and the garden smelled really nice with roses and other flowers. Enjoyed!

We had a fabulous stay! We were greeted by accommodating, helping and relaxed personell (family business). We had the family room (it has its own shower!). It’s always a compromise to sleep with four people in one room, especially when dad tends to snore, but thats on us and not Backlunda. Breakfast was exzellent and above our expectations for a B&B. There’s a terrass on the second floor with an amazing view over the Siljan lake and its surroundings.

The house, the outside space to eat or relax, the vicinity of the lake (we went for a swim and it was great!)

Very friendly welcome, awesome rooms, beautifully equipped with old coutryside stuff. The breakfast was a gastronomic experience. This place also gives to guests plenty of documentation for walking, hiking,skiing etc in the neighborhood.

Charming and comfortable accommodation in a typical old Swedish village on Lake Siljan. Marie and Lesse were excellent hosts.

We were a large group and arrived at an unpredictable time, our hosts were extremely accommodating of this and communicated well. Facilities were awesome and the beds were comfy. Decor is cute and has a homely vibe. Was perfect for us and amazing value!
