Rooms are clean, and the dining area is good. The room has a mosquito net and a fan. The location is not too far from the bus stand. The price is reasonable. Recommended for budget travelers like us.

I liked how helpful the staff was. You can ask anything and they will arrange it for you and to top it off at the end they will bring you to a very good tea estate so you can buy the best tea in their outlet next to the factory. Would recommend for any gem travellers passing by the area.

The views were beautiful and the manager was so helpful, driving me around for visits to gem mines, markets and jewellers.

This is a very good location if you have travelled to Ratnapura for gemstones. The owners and management were all very helpful and even provided a Tuk-Tuk tour of the local gem mines, including the river sieving and the pit mining operations. They were very knowledgeable about the industry and advice on how the markets operate within the city. Rooms were clean and comfortable, with good wifi and air-con in the rooms. Easy walking distance into the city for restaurants and groceries.

Beautiful view from the balcony. Quiet, peaceful neighbourhood. 500 metres from the bus station and the centre. Friendly and helpful owner.

I arrived in the morning before my room was ready and before contacting the owner in the hope that I would be able to have a tour of a gem mine and market and buy some gems with an expert! I was very lucky and the owner helped me with the request and I had the most incredible time. The hotel is in a beautiful location overlooking the mountains. They were very accommodating and I had a great dinner there. Overall had a fantastic experience staying here. The next time I come I will come back to stay here as they also offer a gem-cutting course and the staff were incredible!

The location was close to the city center but it drew noises of vehicles from the highway.

Owner and workers very kind. View is phenomenal. Hotel short distance walk downtown, or easy to hire tuktuk there too.

The host and his relatives are very smiley and friendly! He kindly offered us blankets and towels. I think someone can experience gem cutting or related processes with him, but we unfortunately didn’t have the time. Upstairs there is a nice balcony with a big table and a small bookcase that offers a big range of books that someone can choose to read over the evening!
