Clean, well set-up hostel on the Elberadweg. Was in 10-bed dorm; felt spacious and nice lounge area adjacent. Friendly staff, also good coffee - much enjoyed sitting in the garden basking in the sunshine.

“Nice stay at the hostel”

Everything is very standard for an hostel. Position is great, very close to Bastei bridge (you need to cross the river by ferry, but the hostel provide you with the pass to have the ferry for free).

There are good cooking facilities. There is soccer and ping pong table. Room is comfortable.

Such a lovely hostel. Great outdoor kitchen with lots of space and cool people to chat to. Very nice vibe and easy to get to lots of hikes.

The place was very good and the staff very welcoming and helpful. They have additional facilities like an outdoor fire oven for pizzas and sauna which was amazing. The kitchen is fully equipped. Great place to stay and unwind

Very well run hostel with good facilities clean room and shared showers. Lots of places to eat in and outside. Lights and power over bed. Friendly helpful staff and sold emergency food as no shops in the area

The place is beautiful with outside barn setting and a spacious garden. The owners were friendly and they had cold beer.

The staff was kind and welcoming, they even let us check in several hours before their official check-in. Other than that the hostel has a great location if you want to go hiking and explore the beautiful landscape. They even offer free ferry tickets. We don’t have any complaints

I loved that the dorm room was not bunks. It was all single beds on ground level.

Very friendly place, the way hostels used to be. Beautiful location. It has a kitchen if you want to cook or there is a restaurant just a kilometer away.

I've been to several hostels in my trails, and I can say with no doubt whatsoever that the Hinterland Hostel Is One of the best kept, clean and comfy I've ever seen.

Amazing hidden gem! The facilities were really clean and they went the extra mile to make us feel welcome. They helped us with all our queries and it felt like we were staying with family. We had a pizza party in the evening, they were extremely generous with everything.

Amazing place and staff, super clean, beautiful and comfy. Highly recommend!
