We had a wonderful stay here. The hotel is new, beautifully designed, and in an excellent location — the beach, shops, cafés, and small restaurants are all just a short walk away. At the same time, it is set in a very quiet area, far from the power station, which is especially important in the Maldives. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. The owner met us at the port with a friendly smile, and we were greeted with fresh juice and a cold wet towel to refresh after the journey — such a lovely touch. The interiors are tasteful and elegant, with great attention to detail. Throughout our stay, it felt more like a high-end resort than a small hotel. We especially loved the lobby area with its traditional Maldivian chairs. The breakfast area is also very nicely arranged. If possible, I highly recommend booking a ground-floor room with direct garden access. It comes with two fantastic outdoor showers and a double sink, which made the stay feel extra special. The beds are large, the mattresses very comfortable, and the bed linen was excellent. We also appreciated having tea, coffee, drinking water, and a mini fridge in the room. The staff were extremely kind and helpful throughout our stay. A particularly charming detail is the wax apple tree in the garden — the owner is happy to share the fruit with guests. On our departure day, although our ferry was later in the day, the owner kindly allowed us a late check-out, drove us to the ferry, and helped with our luggage, which we truly appreciated. If I had to mention one small suggestion, I think woven chairs in the breakfast area would make the atmosphere feel even more like a five-star hotel or private island resort. Overall, this is the kind of place you remember long after you leave — not only for its comfort and style, but for the genuine warmth and hospitality.

Location is fine according to the size of the island. Shuttle service to the Boat station was on time and the staff were very nice with us. The lobby and the rooms are quite new and nice.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Palm Ray. The hotel is beautiful, rooms are spotless and cleaned daily, the breakfast is exceptional, and the staff are incredibly helpful. But the highlight of our stay was Hassan, who went above and beyond to make our trip truly unforgettable. He was wonderfully kind to our child, provided 5-star service, and made everything effortless - we even extended our stay by a night thanks to him. We highly recommend asking Hassan about dinner at the hotel. Finding good local food on the island is impossible, but he arranged freshly cooked Maldivian dishes for us every night, from fish curry to grilled reef fish and kuli mas - absolutely delicious. The location is also fantastic, just a short walk to the beach and close to everything else on the island. We couldn’t recommend The Palm Ray more and are so grateful to Hassan for making our stay so special

The hotel is new, super beautiful, and spacious. It’s absolutely relaxing. ALI, the best, was incredibly kind and helped us with everything. Compared to other places, they have the best activities to do, and the people who organize them are also the friendliest. Hassan was also attentive, making sure we never missed a thing.

We had an amazing stay in Palm Ray Rasdhoo. It’s a brand new hotel, fully modern and with great design. All the details are worked through. We felt very comfortable in this place and didn’t want to leave (it’s such a big difference from neighboring hotel Summer vibes, where we stayed before - old and nasty) The bathroom is huge and the beds are super soft and comfortable. Special thanks to Mr. Hassan, who made our stay enjoyable by his great attitude, friendliness and care. We hope to get back one day

Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. They arranged our transfer from Male and provided clear instructions. The rooms are beautiful, new, and spacious. The bathroom felt like a spa! The atmosphere is very relaxing. The owner used to be a fisherman and organizes fishing trips followed by barbecues. We didn't have the chance to do that, as we spent most of our time diving.
