A spacious room with a comfy bed. The garden is nice. The pick-up and drop-off at the jetty works great and the employees are very helpful. Also a plus is the free drinking water available

We loved the balxony to dry our wet (diving) stuff. Nice the staff thinks with you and proactive helps you with the speedboat transfer.

First impressions, a pretty boutique style property in a private secluded garden setting. Ali met us at the jetty and walked with us to the hotel; he was very welcoming. Ali was also extremely helpful as we had a few issues during our stay, not least due to the developing conflict in the Middle East; he tried to help us with communication to the airline/airport etc. The internal garden area was kept clean and tidy at all times.

Very lovely homely feel and a great location on the island.

Ali is fantastic - he helped us arrange a speedboat at short notice, when our other plans didn't work out. This meant we arrived very early, but he met us at the port, gave us breakfast, and allowed us into the room early. The room is a great space, with a double-side balcony, and both a shower and bath. You're a few mins walking to bikini beach and arguably the best restaurant and the best cafe on the island, on the way to the beach. Highly recommended, especially Ali who us a gem!

Absolutely amazing location and brilliant staff. Nothing was too much trouble and they went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Room was spotless. The trip they organised was the highlight of our whole 2 weeks in the Maldives! Thank you to Ali especially.

We had a great stay at Quicksand Hotel. The room was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the location is perfect , just 2 minutes from the beach. I would especially like to thank Ali, who made our stay truly exceptional. He helped us with airport transfers, arranged for the boat to wait when our flight was delayed, and was always very polite and helpful. Even after we moved to another island, he continued to assist us with transfers, saving us time and money. A wonderful experience, especially thanks to the warm and caring staff.

“Great stay generally”

The location is really great, so close to bikini beach and there are some restaurants nearby that are really nice! We were picked up and dropped off at the harbour. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was buffet-style and good. The room was really comfortable as well and good sound isolation. It was cleaned every day. Really fair pricing for what you get!

I had a truly fantastic stay at Quicksand in Rasdhoo. This guesthouse offers an absolutely unbeatable location that made exploring the island incredibly easy and convenient. The geographical location is superb—everything I needed was within a three-minute walk: the beautiful beach, a nearby sports field, some excellent local restaurants, and even the island's only hospital. This level of accessibility is simply wonderful! Beyond the location, the staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. I want to give a special shout-out to Ali, who was always smiling, incredibly friendly, and consistently ready to help guests with anything we needed. I am especially grateful to Ali because I carelessly left my wireless earphones in the room, and he found them and made sure they were returned to me. Thank you so much, Ali! Your honesty and helpfulness truly made my stay memorable. I highly recommend Quicksand to anyone visiting Rasdhoo.

Loved this place! Cozy, great vibe, and super friendly hosts. I felt at home from the very first minute. The buffet breakfast was great, and they even picked me up at the pier and dropped me off on my last day. Near to bikini beach and main road!

The location was very close to the beach. The owner waited for us at the ferry and also took us to the speed boat when arriving. The staff was very friendly, especially the owner. We received breakfast on first day even though official checkin was later. There was mosquito repellant in breakfast area, which was helpful as there were nasty ones on the island.

The hotel’s location is perfect – just a two-minute walk to the beach, maybe even less. The manager who picked us up and took us to the port was very kind and extremely attentive. We arrived in the morning by ferry and were pleasantly surprised that we could have breakfast that same day, which is quite rare, and our rooms were already prepared for us. The rooms were spacious, clean, and equipped with a safe. We highly recommend this place.

Our stay was absolutely amazing! Everything was perfectly organized from the beginning until the very end — including today’s breakfast and the smooth boat transfer to Malé. Ali and his team were truly exceptional: kind, attentive, and always ready to help with anything we needed. They made us feel so welcome and cared for throughout our stay. “A lovely place to stay”

The staff were very friendly, they helped with every issue we had and were happy to quickly book us in for diving and excursions. The beds were really comfortable, and for the price we couldn't have asked for more. There was space to hang up our swimming stuff to dry and the air conditioning was very welcome.

We ended up having to stay at the sister hotel just a few metres away - Palm Residence but we were offered to use the Quicksand facilities and had dinner there one night. Both hotels are practically on the beach. Ali, Coco and Diana took amazing care of us - from even before we arrived to the Maldives to the moment we left. Rooms in Palm Residence are spacious, AC works well, and the place is kept sparkling clean. Rasdoo is an absolute paradise.
