Overview
Just 50 metres from a white sandy beach, The Cooks Oasis features an outdoor pool and group bbq and dining area. Set in lovely tropical gardens, it offers self-contained accommodation with private balcony or patio. The Cooks Oasis is just 1 km from Rarotonga Golf Club and 15 minutes’ drive from the National Museum of the Cook Islands. Avatiu Wharf is a 15-minute drive and Rarotonga Airport is a 10-minute drive away. A kitchenette or kitchen with a microwave, refrigerator and tea/coffee making facilities is standard in all villas. Each villa has a TV, DVD player and laptop safety box. Some villas also have lovely lagoon or garden views. Free snorkeling and canoeing equipment is provided. The tour desk can organise local activities, including fishing, diving and glass-bottom boat tours. The hotel also offers a covered barbecue area, a sun terrace and sun loungers and hammocks on the beach.

Location was great. Close to town and good swimming spots. Large rooms, comfortable beds. Only used fan, didn't need aircon in June.

“Pleasant accomodation.”
Check-in was easy. Jane in reception was lovely and helped us with everything we needed. Our apartment was upstairs and big, with a verandah looking out at coconut palms, a lovely space to sit and read. Had everything we needed. There was a laundry room downstairs which had a big book shelf and DVDs. Lots of snorkelling gear to use for free. Beds were really comfy. Liked the ceiling fans. Had aircon but we didn’t need to use it. Nice bowl of fruit on table when we arrived. Lovely beach and easy walk to Black Rock. You can catch the clockwise or anticlockwise bus outside the Sunset Resort next door. Short bus ride into town costs $5. There are places for mountain-bike hire over road and to the right ($28 per day), or walk 1km to the right and you can rent electric bikes ($50 per day). The road was pretty busy so cycling was a bit of a worry, though we didn’t see any accidents in our whole time there. There is an inner road around a large portion of the island for safer cycling.

“Perfect tropical getaway for a nice, quiet, relaxing holiday.”
Very nice location, a one minute walk to the beach which was a tropical lagoon. The accommodation provided free use of kayaks, reef shoes, snorkels, and flippers which was really cool to see all the coral and fish. The bed was really comfy too.

Clean & Comfortable, we had everything we needed. Bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great location, plenty of restaurants close by.

“Relaxing stay”
Great location,so close to the beach, with snorkeling equipment and kayaks available to borrow. knowledgeable staff, happy to be asked questions about the area and recommendations. Restaurants in walking distance. Good sized accommodation with a small kitchen area.

Location was excellent (very close to Black Rock Beach), and complimentary use of kayaks and snorkelling gear was a nice touch. Overall good value for money with good facilities and very friendly hosts - check in was very smooth.
