Overview
Sunset Resort is situated just 6 km from Avarua in Rarotonga. Its spacious, self-catering studios and suites either boast a beachfront location, or overlook the 2 outdoor swimming pools. The studios and suites at Resort Sunset are nestled among tropical gardens. Each features a fully equipped kitchen, a private patio or balcony and air conditioning. Sunset Resort Rarotonga has an all-day dining restaurant and bar. Each morning it serves a tropical and cooked breakfast. An à la carte menu is offered for lunch and dinner. Some nights there are live music and dance performances. Sunset Resort is situated approximately 7 km from Rarotonga Airport. An airport shuttle can be organised upon request, and there is also free onsite parking.

The owners/managers and all the staff are very welcoming and will go over and above to help you any way they can. The resort and facilities exceeded our expectations. The Ankorage restaurant staff were also lovely, friendly and accommodating.

Exceptional service from all the staff...super friendly and go above and beyond for anything you need! We had a 2 bedroom apartment with a pool view. The room was clean and spacious, great that it also had two toilets. Delicious cocktails!

“Amazing stay”
The staff are amazing!!! They are welcoming, friendly and helpful! Two pools, restaurant onsite and close to the lagoon. The room had everything you needed. I would come and stay again

Everything was great! Staff is genuinely friendly and service oriented. The go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. The beach has plenty of space and lounges too. The restaurant is good. The rooms have been recently furnished and are clean.

“Perfect relaxing holid”
We loved everything about the facilities. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was wonderful and so relaxing. The pools were superb. The beach is fantastic . We spent days snorkelling . Our biggest regret was not staying there for our whole holiday. We will be back .

“Little Oasis”
The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the outings to the markets helped us out whilst we didn't have a rental car. The kitchenette was great, and the set-up was really roomy.

“Family holiday with 2 teens - excellent resort!.”
Sunset resort is on the westetn side so has beautiful sunsets. It is a quick drive to town and there is a bus stop right outside the resort. Tjhe grounds are amazing and the resort staff are likewise. The pride they take in the resort and their jobs is evident. Our two bedroom upstairs room (30) was perfect gor our family. Overlooking the pool, there was ample room and it was well equipped. A double balcony was also a bonus.

“Great place to stay!”
Great location. Lovely facilities. Would have been good to have some non motorised water sports and a few more transport options like pick up and drop off to activities and other resorts. Fantastic food, would stay again!

“Sunset Resort Adults only”
This is my second time staying at Sunset Resort. We really enjoyed our stay at Sunset Resort. The beachfront location is stunning, with gorgeous sunsets and a peaceful atmosphere. Having two bars on-site made it easy to relax, especially during happy hour. Our room was spacious and comfortable, making it easy to unwind after a day of exploring Rarotonga. The staff was friendly and helpful and they always greeted us with a beautiful smile. They keep the property beautiful every day. Just a beautiful paradise.
