“Seclusion, peace, beauty, and bliss”

We loved the beauty of the property. Secluded, serene, of course, in beautiful tropical parklike grounds. We loved the house, with high-quality fittings, furnishings, and tasteful decor throughout. It's definitely a place built to relax and enjoy the rarotongan sun, warmth, and even rain under an extensive covered deck area. The cherry on top must be the pool, which is a definite bonus to any stay in a tropical Pacific island. Kitchen, laundry, and bathroom facilities are brilliant. The entire complex is lovingly maintained with easy indoor-outdoor flow and will definitely be a regular accommodation option for our family. We are very grateful for the generosity of our hosts, Willie and Violet, who went far beyond their obligations to accommodate our needs, making our time in Rarotonga that much more enjoyable. Location is great, secluded without being far away from anything, including the many beautiful beaches, town, markets, and those tasty and iconic food destinations Rarotonga is famous for.

We really enjoyed our time at Serene Holiday Home. The pool was well used by our kids on the hot days. We loved the luxury of the washing machine and wifi. Violet and Willie made sure we had everything we needed and we were surprised at the lovely arrival platters. We loved it so much we didn’t want to leave.

“A perfect home for a perfectly chill week in the sun”

Great location and a home with everything you need for a relaxed stay. Fantastic outdoor area with a large deck, comfy outdoor furniture and a great pool. Close to a supermarket, service station, fruit and vege stall and the famous and delicious Vilis Burgers. For us it was perfect. Willie, the owner, popped around after we had arrived to check we'd settled in OK, everything was good and we had everything we needed. Super friendly and gave us tips about what was nearby.

There was nothing to fault, even though we had some rainy days we were still snug and warm on the deck with big comfy chairs. We loved the moko whanau. There were plenty of pillows to find one that suited and blankets which weren’t needed. The AC was great.

“Great Holiday Home”

The pool was amazing, very private. It's big enough for 3 teenagers to play. Short walk to beach for more swimming and great accessibility to Muri beach for excellent snorkeling.

This was our home away from home. It had everything we needed and more to make our stay comfortable. The pool is such a well-thought addition to the home, especially when needing a quick cool down in the warm tropics of Rarotonga. Violet and Willie have been amazing hosts with great communication throughout our stay. The location was great as we had planned activities in surrounding districts. As burger connoisseurs, Vili’s burger joint and a gas station is within walking distance, making this the perfect location for us! Our group absolutely loved our stay and agreed will definitely be booking Serene Holiday Home on our next trip to Rarotonga.

Beautifully maintained, near to shops and beach. Home was equipped with everything you could need. Fabulous friendly owners, made our stay wonderful.

I cannot fault anything about this property. This beautiful home is located in a quiet area approximately 100 metres from the main road and just as described, boasts stunning garden and mountain views. A very clean and comfortable property that features a spacious balcony. It is equipped with everything you need including super comfy beds which for us is an important factor and, WIFI that was installed just before we arrived. Wills and Vi are extremely friendly and communication with both of them was effortless. After securing this booking we were offered free accommodation which we declined, and upon arrival at the property it was clear to all of us that we had made the right decision. We travelled as a group of 5, four family members and a friend and we all concluded that we would book this property again when we return.

Large private property, safely away from the main road, great for young children, so much space to run around in and play, facilities and all the little extras that were added made it a wonderful accommodation, bbq, multiple sun beds, beautiful outdoor settings, exceptional 360 views, complimentary condiments. Great air flow, that aircon wasn't needed (even though it was available) just an all over outstanding accommodation. Great communication with owners, always replies within a very quick timely manner.

The property was well equipped and had everything we needed. 3 large bedrooms with spacious storage and a great outdoor deck. Quiet and had alot of privacy.

This beautiful home is away from the road, which means it's quiet, apart from the wandering roosters 🤣 We were given clear instructions on how to find the house and how to access it once we arrived, payment process was also straightforward. There was a welcome pack, which included a large bottle of water, cereal, and cartons of milk, which was awesome. It is great to have the use of a washing machine, and there's also a dryer if desperate. It was so nice meeting Willie on our 2nd day who dropped off a pawpaw, yum! 😋 The house is only a couple of years old, so it is really lovely and modern, beautiful bathroom with a rainfall shower head. Loved the sun loungers on the huge deck. We were glad there were extra blankets as it was a bit chilly the first two nights. Also only a few minutes walk to the nearest bus stop and also the closest convenience store.
