Everything was perfect! The 2 bedroom villa was amazing, very comfortable beds and it catered well for my in-laws who both had walking frames.

The location was amazing, steps from the beach. Often we were the only people on the beach, which was so peaceful. The room was clean with a super comfortable bed. We appreciated the addition of aircon amidst the dengue outbreak ((though I only saw one mosquito the whole time, and got no bites at all) Tashi was a great host, and was available if need be. We had a wonderful stay, and didn’t want to come home.

“Peaceful, clean and central to everything”

Close to everything, central to town and family in Arorangi. Cleanliness, space and access to the entire beach and kayak amenities if ever we wanted. Flights entering and exiting the island were welcome sounds as were the morning alarms, the roosters! The sunrises were gorgeous. The hospitality of both Tarshi and Zio were the icing on the cake.

An absolute slice of paradise! The host Tashi and staff were incredibly welcoming, the bungalow was spotless! Everything you need in a home is well provided, bbq,aircon, bed was very comfortable. The beachfront view on the balcony was breathtaking. Waking up to the sound of the ocean and spending our evenings on the kayaks provided (free to use for guests) as so as snorkelling sets. Highly recommended for couples looking to unwind. Perfect location just 1km away from airport, across the road is the petrol station and bakery! It was everything we’ve been looking for when we were looking for places to book for our wedding anniversary getaway and I’m so glad I found Nikao beach bungalows! Tashi the host went above and beyond and we’re so grateful for the hospitality she’s provided even took time out of her busy schedule and offered to drive us to the airport for our early morning flight! This will forever be our paradise getaway accommodation in Rarotonga for whenever we need a little break from reality. We loved it so much that we can’t wait to be back very soon!

Loved the location, the beach and lagoon is stunning. Just a short walk along the beach to Vaianas. Tashi was great to deal with and was able to help provide something extra for the room when I asked. It has WiFi included. Guest laundry. The verandah was great in case of rain but also has great outdoor furniture on your deck. There is a service station across the road open 6am - midnight for any drinks, food or other needs.

Private beach access, view from our balcony really comfortable chilled had A/C, so close town across the road was oasis gas station but even better was The Rarotongan bakery 😋

Very clean and spacious unit. A large deck with bbq by the seas edge was beautiful. The property surrounds were clean and tidy and the hosts were awesome. Gee the air con was a bonus, and the shops and bakery right out front - wow.

The location was excellent. Private beach, Oasis and bakery across the road. 3 minute drive from town. Tashi was easy to contact. Room was left unlocked for us because we disdnt arrive until 3am in the morning. Highly recommend.

The owner, met me at the unit on arrival, and showed me around. Very welcoming. Having the petrol station and bakery across the road was so convenient. Vaiana's 5 minute walk, quick drive to the township. Not far from the airport. Kitchen tidy and clean, had the appliances needed. Comfortable bed, and a lovely view from the bed. No aircon, but the fan did the job when i was inside. Otherwise, you are outside on the deck. Kayaks available... I definitely recommend Nikao Beach Bungalows :)

The location of Nikao bungalows is one of the best I have seen. After searching for months and looking at MANY properties on Rarotonga. Nikao was my final choice and I am so glad that it was! Top service from Tashi and her whanau; with excellence in all areas. Terrific communication when we required it. Tashi is one of the best hostesses yet and offers support and care throughout your stay. Always there if you need her, and knowing that you also need your privacy. She is simply the BEST....
