The property was absolutely stunning- even more so than the pictures. So quiet, beautiful pool and apartment, gorgeous views .The hosts were so friendly and helpful - had placed so much food in our fridge for us to eat. The apartment and whole vila was spotless. If I could give it more than a ten out of ten I would. HIGHLY recommend.

This was the perfect Tuscan Agriturismo! Exactly how we imagined our couples getaway! The hosts were so nice, they waited for us to arrive the first night, even though we arrive at night about 2 hours later than expected due to flight delays. The fridge was full to things to prepare self breakfast. The graden is so beautiful we just wanted to stay there all day. We will definitely come back there next time!

If you have ever seen a romantic movie about Tuscany with views from heaven, an unbeatable "home away form home" feeling and wonderful hosts, it becomes reality in San Gimignanello. We were there end of October and Tuscany was bathed in the colours of Indian summer. If you opened your window you could only see colours and enjoy the calm of a remote countryside holiday home. The love which is put into the rental appartment reflects the owner's efforts to make their clients' stay unforgettable. The rooms are spacious, the bathroom is well mantained (even the water pressure in the shower was perfect and hot water came quickly), the kitchen is nicely equipped and you can park your car in front of the stone house where the appartment(s) are situated. Even the breakfast is provided in a wonderful way: a full fridge and everything else you want for your breakfast as long as you stay. You get ham, cheese, eggs, joghurt, jam, cereals and even a perfect cake once a week - so you can follow your own gusto - so much better than usual breakfasts which force you to adapt to a certain time or food offer. Due to our dense sightseeing program (Siena, Arezzo, Montepulciano within an hour's reach) we met the owners only for short conversations but I can cornfirm what so many visitors have already mentioned: they are very caring and sympathetic. All in all a wonderful stay! In a wonderful house! In the middle of a wonderful landscape!

1. This agriturismo is located in a truly beautiful spot with stunning views. Our family wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy this scenery. 2. We enjoyed a comfortable breakfast with the fully stocked fridge prepared by our host, and the homemade fig pie they made as a welcome treat was absolutely delicious. 3. The accommodation was exceptionally clean, and we could really feel how well the host couple took care of this large house.

A wonderful, peaceful place to stay in a truly magical area. Valeria and Renato provided everything we could possibly need, even giving us vegetables from their garden. We loved the pool and admiring the scenery. It was easy to explore the area by car and visit the most beautiful little towns. We hope to return sometime!

The place is absolutely amazing! Staying at this bed and breakfast in a Tuscan castle like casa was like stepping into a dream. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with the warmest welcome by our host, who went out of their way to make us feel at home. The place itself is a masterpiece, full of charm, history, and elegance, while still offering every modern comfort you could need. The views are breathtaking—rolling Tuscan hills as far as the eye can see, with vineyards, olive groves, and cypress trees painting a picture-perfect landscape. We spent some hours just relaxing by the pool, watching over the hills with a glass of local wine, feeling utterly content. And the food—where to start? In our apartment we found all we need ready for next few days - delightful spread of freshly baked pastries, fruits, and local cheeses, all made with ingredients sourced right from the region. If you’re looking for a perfect mix of luxury, authenticity, and personal touch in the heart of Tuscany, this bed and breakfast is it. We can’t wait to return!

Tenuta Il Tasso exceeded all our expectations. A beautiful, spacious, Tuscan apartment. A fridge and pantry full of fresh groceries for breakfast and lunch. Lovely hosts. And a breathtaking and peaceful view of Tuscany. Would stay here again and recommend.

“Such a dreamy place”

Our staying at Tenuta Il Passo was so much better than expected. We think that we discovered a true gem of Tuscany considering the location and how friendly and thoughtful the owners are. Every detail inside the house will take you back in time in a good way, with so many little details waiting to be explored. Everything was so clean and properly maintained. We had the one bedroom apartment which is built with a groundfloor(kitchen and dining), first floor(big bathroom) and lobby, and the second floor having the master bedroom with a lovely collection of books. Kitchen is fully equipped and the bed was so comfy! On the outside, I honestly think this is one of the best views we had in Tuscany plus a pool. The garden is so big that you ll be finding yourself wandering around for days. Another plus is the good road and the safe parking place👍 PS: last but not least, the owners are so kind and polite, they live there and you can talk with them basically about anything. A barbecue was also offered at request which made our stay even better. Thank you SO MUCH for the cookies and the smiles 😁 PS2: make yourself a favour and book at least 3 nights, or you will be regretting doing otherwise 😅

We spent our honeymoon here and did not want to leave the place at the end of our visit. Our hosts were very welcoming and guided us for the neighborhood villages and restaurants. The breakfast was more than satisfactory with a lot of variety. The location was in the middle of the woods with a lake nearby. It was very peaceful. The place is a 30 minute drive to both Siena and Val D'orcia region, so very convenient to explore Tuscany. Would love to stay here again.

Nice checking in with food in the fridge. Typical Italian cold cut meats, cheese, bread, eggs, fresh fruit and cheese were provided. Fantastic!

“Amazing stay in a stunning location”

Amazing holiday in an amazing place. The house was wonderful and the views were spectacular. The quantity and quality of food provided for breakfast was amazing and sitting outside to eat in the beautiful surroundings was amazing. The swimming pool was fantastic and sitting around it enjoying the peace and tranquility was fabulous. The bed was very comfortable and we both slept very well here. Can't recommend this hidden gem highly enough, it is one of the best holidays we've ever had!

The property is located on a very large and beautiful plot of terraced land, with a gorgeous view towards a forested hill and a small lake. It is very well kept and looks simply amazing. The owners are very welcoming. We also got the baked cake mentioned in other reviews and we ate it all during our stay. Our fridge got filled with very good, mostly local, products. It was actually so good that I personally regretted filling up our schedule with other activities instead of staying longer at the property.

The host Valerie and Renato are very friendly. I made a last-minute booking on Saturday afternoon because my reservation at another place got cancelled on the day. Despite being very short notice, when we arrived (30 mins after we booked) the apartment was ready in a tidy manner. Valerie prepared more than enough food and drinks for breakfast and she even made a delicious cake for us. The apartment is spacious, beautiful and very well-maintained. You can tell that the owner takes good care of the property and it really felt like home. There is a swimming pool in the yard where you can see a nearby lake - the view is magnificent. I will definitely stay here again when I come back to the area.
