“Nice stay in the quiet countryside.”

We had a room in the main building. A nice room with a large balcony. There is a large kitchen and dining area downstairs. The kitchen was very well equipped for cooking. There is a sauna as well, but we didn't use it. We did a nice walk around the area, beautiful and quiet in the summer time.

The house is nicely located on an island near the shoreline surrounded by trees. The wooden blockhouse has inside a charming maritime style.

We appreciated the privacy, sauna and lake access. But to be honest, we stayed in nicer and more comfortable cottages during our 2 weeks in Finland. In was not bad but as it is a cottage build for business, not a family property, it is very impersonal. Called a "design" cottage (meaning that everything is white), we would appreciate less design and more of practicality. The spaces are not utilized very efficiently, e.g. there is actually no real bathroom. You can brush your teeth either in the kitchen or on the toilet. The shower is located in a huge empty hall between the sauna and a corridor to the toilet. Once someone takes the shower, the hall gets wet and you have either to cross it or to go to the toilet through the outside veranda. The upper floor also could be used much more efficiently (but we did not need it being only the 2 of us). The lake view and the lake itself is nice but you can see and hear the cars from the road on the other side. To sum up - it was OK but we will definitely remember other places, not this one.

“Perfect place near Rantasalmi”

Spacious house, very well equipped. Location was perfect, few meters from the lake with our own access to it. Vicinity was very quiet and beautiful. Wonderful experience!

We were only there for a night on the travel to another place. Staff was very friendly and helpful, the room clean and the building beautiful. Spacious common room and kitchen to prepare food. Also lots of play toys/younger children books in a children room.

Nice rooms, also possibility to sauna and hot tube included (we did not use that but looked nice). Common space for eating own food and making coffee. Suitable driving distance if participating the Savonlinna Opera festival.

The location and facility are great. Nice cozy house with a wonderful lake view. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel & Spa Resort Järvisydän, located nearby, is a great option to spend a few hours.

The best accommodation in Finland! Absolute privacy, mesmerizing view, a lot of space inside and around the cottage. There was also everything you can possibly need for a perfect holiday, e.g., a row boat, a fireplace next to a lake, and an awesome sauna.

Property is in a very good condition and the room was clean and like a new. Kitchen downstairs was fully equipped.

The place and the grounds are beautiful. If one likes nature. Well maintained. I had an hour walk in the grounds after a long drive. No need to exit the property.

Lovely location on the side of a lake.

Lake side! We seeked the lake Saimaa and met the lake! Swam many times between the sauna.

The location is awsome, the fishing opportunity, sauna, space, just great.

Sunny deck for coffee and swimming, clean and comfortable inside.
