“Terrific hotel for adventurers”
Location, staff, tennis court, swimming pool (cold) and signed walks are all excellent. Food very good. Showers are great with plenty of hot water. Wifi in rooms is good. Noise in the room was dependant on other guests and was only an issue one night really. The scenery is absolutely stunning. I would love to return. A big issue is how to get there as the "road" from Toliara is a mess of potholes and decaying tarmac etc. It took us nearly 7 hours excluding a stop to be driven there and the trip is very jarring on the body. I would recommend 5 nights as a minimum due to the drive. Is it worth going? Yes. Is this the best hotel in the area? Yes (or the sister hotel which shares the facilities.) Having been to 95 countries I think this should be on bucket lists of adventurers everywhere. If you have thousands of Euros you could fly in in a small charter plane.....

“I higly recommend this place. I would definitely come back.”
The property is located in a wonderful area. The nature is amazing. We loved so much the design of this place. Also, the employees are very nice and kind. All of them smilling and willing to help. The pool was perfect. You have towels on the sunbeds. The only regret is that we only spent two nights here.

“Unforgettable”
As a second time visit, le jardin du Roy confirms itself as an unique gem. Every detail is accurately chosen to match beauty and harmony . Prices are perfectly balanced . We ate a le Relais because we preferred the menu there , our massage at Bara Spa too, because we enjoyed the atmosphere. The pool is cleaned everyday and is spotless, as the cottage too , which shows spectacular stone walls. The staff is professional and smiling , welcoming . Isalo is a magic corner in Madagascar and we are stunned every time we go back . I can highly recommend the place . Thank you to miss Anne, the owner, who is sincerely the friendliest and I wish this family to mantain this high quality standard to offer their guests a really unforgettable experience !

“Beautiful bungalows”
A beautiful, atmospheric property in an amazing location, with cottages surrounded by the rocks of Isalo Park. The grounds are clean and beautifully maintained. The cottages are full of character, spotless, and equipped with very comfortable beds. The food served in the restaurant is very tasty, and the staff is very friendly.

“Luxury stay for a reasonable price”
Whole resort was created in hrmony with surrounding nature. It was quiet and very very nice to stay here. We regret not to stay longer to enjoy it even more. Staff was super nice and helpfull

“Beautiful hotel just next to Isalo National Park”
After a rough ride on the RN7, it is strange to arrive at this super nice international quality hotel next to Isalo National Park. Everything about this place is polished in a way that other hotels in Madagascar almost never are.

We stayed at this hotel during a family trip to Madagascar (family of five) and had a great experience! The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff was super friendly, the pool was fun and well-kept, and the restaurant served delicious food. Highly recommended for families! the massage was the best i ever had
