Its amazing staff and location to disconnect from the city stress. Sita and Jeeban the farm hosts were very nice and helpful.

Sita and Jeeban are as real as it gets, I like that. It's kind of back to nature, places to wander, nice views, good food. I will return x

Cannot recommend this place and family enough! We’ve had the most amazing time helping out in the garden, learning, cooking, relaxing, and laughing with the family. The food is so fresh and amazing and the family is so kind. Rooms are big and comfortable and it was easy to get to from Pokhara. Highly recommend!!

The Eco Farm is in a great location, with beautiful views of the Annapurna range and the lake, as well as lots of options for daily walks. Govinda and Chetana are so kind, and the food was incredible - better than I have had at any restaurant in Kathmandu/Pokhara! It was fantastic to learn about organic farming and how to cook a perfect momo! The room was clean and tidy - the Eco Farm is the perfect place to unwind after trekking.

Mountain View Eco Farm is the perfect destination for anyone seeking an authentic Nepalese experience. From the moment you arrive, you become a part of Govinda’s family, instantly feeling at home. Location: Nestled peacefully on the hillside above Begnas Lake, the farm is surrounded by family-cultivated fields and offers a breathtaking view of the Annapurna mountains. The serene environment creates an ideal escape. Accommodation: While the rooms are simple and clean, you'll hardly notice, as you'll be fully immersed in farm life. Whether helping with daily tasks or simply marveling at the stunning scenery, there's always something to keep you engaged. Food: The meals, prepared by Chetana, are nothing short of exceptional. She’s a talented cook, and all ingredients are fresh, directly sourced from the farm without processing. This is where I discovered the difference between "hot" and "spicy," and learned to appreciate the latter. Family-Friendly: We stayed with our two children, and Govinda went out of his way to make them feel welcome. He even made a little swing for them upon our arrival. His son, who speaks excellent English, was incredibly friendly, ensuring our daughters were never bored. Final Thoughts: Mountain View Eco Farm was the highlight of our stay in Nepal, and the experience is one we will never forget.

It was a beautiful time there. In the middle of the nature, with good food, a very friendly family and nice room. I learned so much about the seasonal vegetables and plants. I spend there also my birthday and got a really delicious birthdaycake :)

I have been to Nepal 3 times, I can easily say that my stay with Govinda and his family, was one of the best experiences I had. The location and views are spectacular and serene. The location is quiet easy to access the lakes, and village nearby. If you are looking for a place to connect authentically with Nepali culture and experience, this is the place. I arrived a bit sick and left fully rejuvenated. The family took care of me, they provided Ayurvedic medicine, and also eating directly from the organic farm, was healing. If I didnt have to leave I would have continued my stay. I plan to come back again!

The best stay we experienced in Nepal. Whole place is just magical. We felt so welcomed. You can see the circle of growing food, cooking and also eating :)) We ate the most delicious and fresh food which Chetana cooked. Govinda showed to us how is possible to create such colorful garden. Our talks about herbs and ayurveda was very inspiring. Little Siddhartha was lovely sparkle of our days. Our room was cosy and clean with view on garden. Thank you so much for everything. “A great, relaxing and fulfilling experience to stay here”

Govinda, Chetana, Siddharta and the other guests made me feel straight at home and I will never forget this special stay with the beautiful views. It’s great to chat with Govinda and Chetana sharing their knowledge when it comes to ecological farming, plants, herbs, cultural things etc. You can ask them anything. I definitely learned some new things here and the way they live, so dedicated and with respect for nature and the land really inspired me. Chetana cooks the most delicious meals and she has been so kind in making special tea’s and giving me herbs from the garden when I was not feeling well due to a cold. It’s really good to spend some time here before, after or in between trekking too. Govinda has some very good recommendations if you’re looking for a trekking guide as well.

The food was fantastic. All fresh from the land and home cooked by Chetana who is an amazing cook. She shared her knowledge of the food and ingredients and showed me to to make paratha. A wonderful authentic experience

I really enjoyed the time at the Mountain View Eco Farm! It is such a beautiful place, and a really warm and welcoming family. The food is the best i ate in Nepal, directly fresh from the big garden! It was also nice to help a little bit in the garden and to see how sustainable they run their farm. The room was really comfortable, and the morning view on the Annapurna Range with the Begnas Lake in front is incredible!
