Overview
Located beside the Otago Central Rail Trail, Hawkdun Lodge offers free Wi-Fi and free BBQ facilities. All accommodation boasts a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. “Great place to stay, highly recommend !”
We didn’t use any of the facilities outside of our room as we were only there for one night, but we were very happy with the spotless, well equipped, spacious room. It was very warm and comfy and had everything we needed. Easy check in and comfy bed and pillows. Very friendly staff.

“Great value and a comfy, peaceful stay!”
Great spot in Ranfurly, clean spacious room, comfy bed, good shower and excellent kitchen facilities. Very friendly host. We drove up to Naseby for dinner at the Royal Hotel (highly recommended!) and had a great overnight stay at Hawkdun Lodge. Great value for money!

Everything was arranged for our arrival even though the staff weren’t there. Room was clean, tidy and warm. 2 minute walk to supermarket and pub. Will sty again.

Lovely overnight stay.warm room tv went and just a comfy stay. Staff great. Town very tiny and pub not worth the food. You’re probably better to go to next town if needing food or just take a takeaway to re heat.

The deluxe room was very nice and roomy. We enjoyed our short stay. Once we arrived there was a note on the office telling us what room we were in and that the key was inside the room.
