“Lovely place and good visit with the dogs”

Beautiful location, close to the national park with lots of beautiful hiking trails. Loved the dogs. It was too hot for many activités but we got to feed them and pet them. Our host patiently answered our many questions. The apartments are very comfortable and well equipped with lots of space and the soundproofing worked well. You can cook in the kitchen, but there was also a cafe 3 minutes away with food and a mini supermarket.

A welcoming place, great hosts! The accommodation was warm, clean with great amenities. We went on the early morning husky ride. What a fantastic experience and Linda was a great instructor!

Getting to spend time with all the dogs!Accommodation was comfortable, stylish, clean and very well equipped. Everyone at the lodge was very friendly. Beautiful location in the woods.

Modern, well furnished and comfortable lodges with friendly owners. And the best part: the huskies! There were puppies when we were visiting and we could cuddle with them. We also highly reccommend the carriage ride with the huskies. It was nice to even be involved with harnassing and preparing the carriages.

The Lodge is off the beaten path and with a bedroom view on the husky-pen, and offer to help feeding, you feel right at home. It was difficult to pry my son away from the friendly dogs. It's surely a place to come back to! The house felt luxurious and modern, and the staff was great with helping us feel at home. The tour was special and felt like "once- in-a- lifetime," but since April was a bit bad for the ride, we want to return in February to do it over with more favourable conditions!

It’s a great place ! The hosts and mushers were very welcoming and fun to exchange with. The dogs are amazing and we went on a day as well as a half day trip. We enjoyed it very much and the scenery was quite fantastic. Since we loved the dogs we always joined for feeding them breakfast and dinner. Recommend to go food shopping on your way to the lodge and to use the well equipped kitchen for home made dinners :)

The highlight of our visit, without a doubt, was the huskies. These beautiful, well-cared-for dogs are the heart and soul of the lodge, and spending time with them was an unforgettable experience. Whether you’re experienced or a first-timer, the husky sledding tours are a must. Gliding through the snow-covered trails with the dogs leading the way was exhilarating and magical—a memory we will cherish forever. The staff at Jotunheimen Husky Lodge truly go above and beyond. They are knowledgeable, welcoming, and passionate about the region and its traditions. They helped us plan our trip, shared fascinating insights about the area and the local wildlife, and ensured every moment of our stay was perfect.

The best place we stayed in Norway. Very beautiful and big house. Very clean and there is everything you need for staying. The owner of the place very friendly and funny and will help people with everything they need.

The rooms have been recently renovated and are very modern. The husky’s on the terrain are awesome and we could help feed them every day. When it is feeding time or when they are being prepared for a tour they make noise but that is to be expected of a husky farm and it didn’t bother us. The location was perfect for us, very quiet in the middle of the woods.

Everything is so wonderful here. The lady here is very friendly and helpful. A very nice kitchen and very steady bunk beds. We really enjoy our stay here.

The surroundings, the husky's and the friendly people! We really had a wonderful time. We did a husky tour with the trolleys, really cool! We are thinking coming back in winter. The appartment was really comfortabele.

very nice place, well equiped apartment, very friendly host, we were able to spend a lot of time with the Husky dog family and their 7 new pups which we could cuddle and play with. A wonderfull and unforgettable moment for our boys. Wished we could have stayed there longer to explore the beautiful scenery.
