“A hidden gem that I’d prefer to keep secret”

The most notable aspect of our stay was the owner, Jenny; her kindness and thoughtfulness were truly wonderful. When she realized that we were unaware most shops would be closed for May Day and hadn't bought any ingredients for dinner, she immediately and generously offered to share some of her own provisions with us without a moment's hesitation. I managed to go out and get some food myself, so I didn't take her up on the offer, but I was so touched by her kindness. Throughout our stay, she was always thoughtful and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed and offering support whenever necessary. We were also charmed by her intelligent and lovely dog and cat, and found comfort in their company. Since the property is nestled in the forest, we could constantly hear the birds singing; it was so quiet, comfortable, and relaxing—it felt just like staying at a relative’s home. Because of this, I honestly want to keep this place a secret to avoid a scramble for bookings next time!

location is very good central to lots of attractions mainly Etna Nord, Nebrodi, taormina and Savoca, catania, Alcantara. the host was very friendly and helpful. they have a barbeque area which was nice to stay around the fire every night.

Genny and her family were very kind and welcoming! The house was very nice, in a quiet location.

Very attentive and helpful hostess who provided us with good hints on the surrounding area. The small holiday home has been lovingly restored and furnished. Good starting point for hikes on Mount Etna (25 minutes by car). Also great with children, as the dog (very friendly), cats, chickens and vegetable garden at the house. Highly recommended overall.

“A little hidden pearl on the northern slopes of the Etna”

A very warm welcome of a very sweet hostess. We had a flat tyre in our rental car and she went out of her way to make sure we had it fixed on a sunday, when everything was closed. We travelled 2 weeks all over Sicily visiting biodiversity hotspots. This was easily our best stay. Very nice local grown sweet peas were offered freely. The location is superb. Hoopoes in the garden. Our only Wood Warblers were found here. Orioles singing every morning. European Turtle Doves purring. At night several Scops Owls from the garden. Scarce Swallowtail and other good butterflies in the garden. Very nice spacious rooms. Best value for your stay near the Etna.

Very quite place... surrounded by greenery, only a short 3 minute drive from the village of Randazzo... which is a nice place to visit as well. Host were wonderful and very helpful with anything we needed

Great home with loads of character. Beautifully tiled floors. Good location in countryside yet only a few minutes from Randazzo. Very welcoming hosts who ensured our stay was very enjoyable.

The apartment is a very nice and quiet place in the outskirts of randazzo. Genny was very welcoming, friendly and full of useful information about directions, good restaurants and cafes. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer!

Genny, is a wonderful host. The cottage was cosy, simple but well stocked. It was set in beautiful gardens and wooded area, I imagine it would have been fantastic for children too. We arrived late for lunch but Genny called a local restaurant and arranged for them to stay open for us to eat. We had a very relaxing afternoon here and would visit again.
