Good location for the Pekoe Trail. The staff were friendly and so helpful in ordering in some food for us. The tea factory tour and tea tasting was really interesting as well.

The property was in the perfect place for finishing a days hiking. I walked straight in. It was next to the bus stand so the next morning a member of staff walked me down. The staff were amazing, kind and attentive! Hot shower, comfortable bed, kettle in the bedroom - couldn’t fault it.

Very conveniently located at the end of the third stage of the Pekoe trail. Staff was helpful. There is a clothes shop, tea shop, and a tea factory with free guided tours. Rooms were clean. They even had a small patisserie selection. Staff helped us to organise a tuk tuk.

Attentive staff, free tour of tea factory, tea tasting, and tea

We stayed two nights at Glenroch Tea Factory, and it was such a lovely experience. The staff were incredibly accommodating and flexible, always making sure we were comfortable. A special mention to Rouzan, who went out of his way to arrange dinner for us when we arrived late — truly appreciated after a long journey. They even generously gave a discount from the tea center. The location is right on the main road, making it very convenient, and it’s a great base for Pekoe Trail Stage 3. We did the trail in reverse and it worked perfectly from here.

We arrived at the Tea Factory by local bus — just ask the driver to drop you nearby. The next day, you can easily catch the bus again from the corner to the right, or near the food restaurant to the left. Our room was very comfortable — a real hotel room with a touch of luxury. It was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. The hotel staff were friendly and always ready to help. We also booked breakfast for the next morning and enjoyed a nice selection of tasty continental dishes. The highlight of our stay was definitely the free Tea Factory tour, followed by a delicious tea tasting.

The place is so good for people who does the pekoe trail stage 3. The hotel road is part of pekoe trail so it’s easy. The food was really tasty and staff is super friendly. I think the best experience you get is the tea factory visit, estate visit where you have to dress up like a tea plucker and they teach you what leaf to pick. Then the chocolate tasting. Had a chat with the chef. Very friendly and let us taste few chcoloate flavors. The flavors u never had before. There is ginger cardamom. And lot of different flavors. I love the whole experience as a local. I am sure a foreigner would love these more. And let’s not forget the recreational place. Pool, carrom, table tennis. We had so much fun. Forgot we did a long hike. Oh forgot about the stunning views you get. It’s very picturesque.

Very surprised in a good way. It's unbelievable that there are not more people staying there. The hotel is right on the Pekoe trail, which is nice after a full day hiking. The price is very good compared to several other accommodations in the area and the rooms are spacious and clean. The staff is helpful and welcoming and the free your around the tea factory was very educational.
