Beautiful cabin with all the amenities you need for a weekend away. Comfortable bed and stunning huge bathroom. The breakfast pack was excellent and was enough for our 2 days. On-site coffee shop was a hit, lovely service, and excellent coffee.

“Luxury Relaxtion”

What an absolute gem! Hideaway was everything we could have wanted; perfect location, relaxing, had all the amenities we needed and it allowed us to explore Litchfield outside of peak times which meant we had many of the swimming spots to ourselves. Everything has been well thought out and all communication/instructions were clear. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would come back in a heartbeat.

“Uniquely fabulous stay in a natural setting”

We loved staying in Wangi hideaway, surrounded by nature, and flowering gum trees which add a special quality to the colour palette. The hideaway is furnished to complement nature perfectly and the facilities are just right, with BBQ and fire pit outside and option for cooking inside. For us, having morning coffee on the deck at sunrise was a highlight. We had many visitors; wallabies, green tree frog, huge insects and lots of birds, even a stunning pair of Forest Kingfishers on the last morning. This is a special place for unwinding and relaxing, with a welcome digital detox. The location is excellent for visiting the amazing waterfalls, creeks and rock pools. The owners are very helpful and run a nice cafe and gallery which we enjoyed visiting.

Very close to Litchfield NP attractions. Enjoyed the birds and wildlife from the verandah. Loved all the little extras like pantry supplies, chocolates and delicious mango ice cream. Comfortable beds and very responsive hosts. Great coffee shop and gallery on the property.

Great location! Lovely coffee and milkshakes at Kin, the coffee shop on premises. Delicious mango Icecream left in the freezer.

Breakfast was delicious and it was lovely to sit on the verandah and listen to the brids while we were eating. So magical! Waking up to the wall of windows to see a mama wallaby and her joey right outside was incredible.

The hosts were friendly and helpful. The property is in a remote area of the national so it felt like a great get away. The kitchen had essential supplies and breakfast ingredients. There is a cafe next door that sold great coffee

Unusual building : two containers stacked on top of each other, connected by outside stairs with a great deck at the top level to look at the stars - or watch the little wallabies in the morning zipping a coffee. Downstairs is a big deck with a fan above the comfortable seating area and the house is surrounded by trees and nature. Big comfortable bed, shelving to store one's belongings on one wall and two ceiling to floor windows as advertised with a view into the trees. Upstairs is also the spacious bathroom with a great shower. Kitchen was well equipped, the little loaf of bread waiting for us was fresh & delicious; also had some eggs and bacon in the big fridge. Everything was thoughtfully designed, sourced and presented and we felt "at home". Many of the falls are close by, so easy travelling. As advised by our host, we brought our own provisions as there is no supermarket nearby.

We loved little things made us happy - chocolate, coffee, ice cream…all local products! Very environmentally friendly mind resort. Best thing was watching red tail black cockatoo from our balcony. And amazing art cafe…!

“Perfect hideaway in Litchfield”

I stayed 2 nights in Wangi and it was excellent. I would have happily stayed longer! Cabin is really lovely, incredibly well designed and comfortable. Having the bbq there and a well stocked kitchen made meals a breeze. The bed was very comfortable and if you keep the blinds up you will be rewarded by a fantastic view of the stars overnight from your bed. Cannot rate this place more highly. And Rog and Viv are lovely, as is their dog Pete. Perfect hideaway in Litchfield!
