This is a magical place. Extremely clean! Cosy and comfortable. And a very nice and warm owner. In addition the lake: perfect view and sound. I highly recommend!

“Very comfortable house with private beach and playground.”

Very comfortable, clean and well equipped house. Spacious for two but still more than enough room for four guests - two sleeping rooms separated by an open kitchen, so also very suitable for two couples or a small family. Situated beautifully directly at the lakeshore with a private beach, absolutely calm and peaceful. Shallow water - I'd say especially suitable for families with children, if you want to swim you have to walk a while until it gets deeper (Lake Peipsi is known to be on the shallow side). Both loggia and open veranda with a roof so you can sit and enjoy the wonderful view also during colder weather or in the evening. Every window is covered with mosquito nets (very important). Meadow with playground, barbecue station, hammock etc. Separate sauna with wooden stove (30 EUR extra per turn), I would definitely recommend not to be stingy here and book it at least once during your stay. Very friendly host (Russian, Estonian and English spoken and even some German, so no communication problems) who drove us to the bus station (otherwise it's about 45 minutes walking distance from Mustvee, but a comfortable road with not much traffic). Mustvee offers the basic services like supermarket, ATM, pharmacy, a café at the harbour (check the opening hours! no place for late dining) and some interesting sights, also non-touristical ones.

“Quiet, divine and restorative”

Totally agree with other positive reviews! It's a nice place with a very amicable owner. The house self is rather compact, but there are all essentials available. Very beautiful sunsets and night sky full of stars, very quiet, divine and restorative. Great garden! Sauna use is for an extra fee. We drove by car to Kolkja (one of the Old Believers villages & museum), Alatskivi castle and park, Tartu (places to eat out: Kampus, Cafe Truffe, Polpo - all in the city centre and Aparaat in the former industrial area, now art district), and to absolutely stunning Kauksi beach. The grocery shops are max 10 min drive away, also locals are selling fresh vegetables, honey and smoked fish near almost every supermarket and along the road. Repellent is a must in Peipsi lake area.
