Very clean and welcoming with all facilities you need. They knew we were bringing kids so provided lots of toys which was so great after travelling so long.

The cottage is beautifully decorated and has an authenticity of irish farmhouse life. The hosts Bairbre and Richard were so friendly and helpful.We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this cosy irish farmhouse cottage.

“One of a kind 😊”

The property was beautiful. A small cottage type house with hens and little lambs on site. Great for little kids. Beds were clean and comfortable, fresh eggs and cereal and milk in the fridge also. Showers were nice and good water pressure.

From the friendly welcome to when I entered the cottage a home from home feel we had a lovely stay nothing was any trouble for the owners the small touches fresh eggs fire wood for the stove toiletries towels i would recommend this place and I will be back no problem great place for couples and families the walk in to the village and locals very friendly I honestly had a lovely stay thanks Richard and Barbara appreciate ye guys having us stay at ur beautiful cottage

The cottage was lovely and as described. The hosts had left fresh eggs and milk for us. Unlike lots of other rentals, the kitchen had tea, coffee, condiments, oil, etc, so you don't have to think of bringing them with you.

“Piece of paradise in the countryside”

We loved everything about Marianne Cottage. It was very easy to find. Bairbre met us when we arrived and had the stove lit so the place qas so cosy. It had everything you need for a few nights away - including fresh eggs each morning. The beds were so comfortable. My son and daughter loved feeding the chickens and seeing the Highland cows! My son asked if we could go again next year. We all love it - 5+ stars!

“Great Retreat”

Great hosts, provided us with a few eggs and some home made bread which was lovely. Although there's not much to do in clonmellon itself, it's a great base for travelling the towns close by and historical sites. Accommodation is spotless, nothing to fault, cleanest place we've stayed at!

the cottage was so beautiful, the stove was lighting when we arrived so it was lovely and warm :) there were eggs and homemade brown bread left out for us to enjoy, which was such a nice touch! The bedroom was so cosy, really comfortable bed! everything we needed was there, the hosts really think of everything you may need :)

Idyllic, warm, cosy and clean. Bairbre welcomed us with open arms. Beautiful location. Our 3 teenage children loved it too! Can't wait to go back in the summer.

Bairbre met us just as we arrived and showed us around. Couldn't have been more helpful. The house itself was just amazing. Everything we could ever need .. and the little quirky things kept my little budding interior architect very busy...

Richard and Bairbre were perfect hosts and their cottage was charming, clean, fun and fully equipped. We felt like were temporary residents of their farm -- and beautiful corner of Ireland -- and it was a wonderful jumping off location for a wedding we were attending in the region. Best of all, our two small children enjoyed playing with all sorts of toys they had in the cottage and Richard was kind enough to show us around the farm, letting our little ones help out with the animals -- a real high point of our whole trip to Ireland!

Lovely cottage. Had everything we needed for our stay. We didn't get to meet our hosts because we were gone each day. The stove was ready to light on our arrival and plenty of timber to burn. Fresh free-range eggs in the kitchen for us from their hens. And more were left at the door two days later. Had a problem with one of the toilets not flushing, sent a text which was replied to straight away and the problem was solved after they checked we were OK with them being in the cottage while we were out.
