Railay Phutawan Resort is located along Railay Beach in Krabi, surrounded by green mountains and the beautiful Andaman Sea. This tropical getaway enjoys easy access to the nearby islands. Phutawan Railay Resort is a 15-minute speedboat ride from popular Ao Nang Beach. Diving and snorkelling trips to Ko Lanta and the Phi Phi Islands are just a short speedboat ride away. We had an amazing stay and were extremely happy with our experience! Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade, which made our stay even more special. The hotel is set in a breathtaking rocky landscape surrounded by lush tropical nature and incredible wildlife. From the hotel pool, we were lucky enough to spot an Asian black hornbill, which was an unforgettable experience! We even came across a forest scorpion 😀—a true reminder of how immersed in nature this place is. We also really appreciated the complimentary tuk-tuk pickup service, which made getting to the hotel with our luggage effortless. Our only regret is that we booked just one night—we definitely wish we had stayed longer! Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful and unique stay surrounded by nature.

“A gorgeous resort”
Gorgeous property on the top of the hill, surrounded by dramatic limestone structures. Mystical and beautiful surroundings. With the free beach shuttle, getting to the beach is not so bad even though it is not a beachfront property. Food is good, rooms are comfortable and nice, and staff and very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again. We had a great stay. Thank you.

“The view!!”
Wonderful view from the room and of course from the swimming pool, especially watching rock climbers going up and down that cliff was fun. The staff was lovely too - from our tuktuk driver to our waiter John, all were amazing people!

“Definitely a vibe jungle stay with a touch of lux”
Location was amazing , personal tooktook transfers a to the beach and back when ever you need. Organised my trip to the airport with them was perfect. Tractor , long boat , taxi . All their staff definitely recommend. Food was great. And the bell boys running my bags around wouldn’t let me help they are very strong and did it with a smile. 10/10

“Engagement trip”
Great location- hotel surrounded by high hills and ocean, I asked for the room upgrade after 1st night (superior double room wasn't that nice), and changed for ocean view room- I highly recommend it, got even a discount. Hotel provides free tuktuk transfer to the beach, on hourly basis. In the first evening we got a perfect dinner in the restaurant. Personnel was very helpful and nice....

“Beautiful resort in a great location”
Beautiful resort, a short walk from Walking Street. The Seaview room was just amazing and worth the extra cost. The breakfast was great and the staff very friendly and welcoming. We celebrated a birthday and the staff went out of their way to make it very special, thank you! Railey Beach is a lovely spot to visit for a few days.

“Amazing pool, clean rooms, great food and the best staff… perfect”
From the start to finish of our five nights at Phutawan, we had THE best time of our two-week adventure across Thailand. Our room had a balcony looking out onto the cliffside, the pool area was out of this world and the breakfast was hands down the best of anywhere we stayed. The cocktail happy hours by the pool were superb and the food in the evening was so good that we didn't feel the need to go into town. Everything was just perfect. But what made it extra special were the staff, especially John, Lin and Auk. Simply the kindest, loveliest people we met while we were in Thailand. John's insights into the local wildlife and birds were just magical and they all made us feel so very welcome that it was actually quite sad to leave them. They are a credit to the Railay Phutawan Resort. We will definitely be back!

“Fantastic stay 😃”
We had a fantastic stay in this lovely hotel. The very friendly and helpful staff made our stay truly special. We very much enjoyed our fabulous room (we even got an upgrade and truly loved our bungalow), the wonderful gardens and surrounding nature - could even watch dusky leaf monkeys and other animals from our balcony. Breakfast and food in the restaurant were outstanding - and the staff was really fantastic. In addition, we had booked private transfer from Phuket Airport, and everything worked perfectly well. We would absolutely recommend this place and really hope to come back. A great Thank You to everyone!
