Probably the most beautiful house we stayed in Sri Lanka. We went to the airport early in the morning and the host prepared some sandwiches for us. I would definitely recommend this place :)

Clean, comfortable room. Calm environment. Worth for money. Room spacious. The dining area is really helpful to have a meal. It is really good that the attached batch room is separated from room nearby.

The owner was extremely friendly and kind. She welcomed us warmly, and we felt very safe and comfortable throughout our stay. The place was spacious, with a separate kitchen and dining area, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We truly had a wonderful experience here.

“Comfortable relaxing stay”

It was a home, safe, cocomfortable bed, spacious , clean, had a dinning, living araa and a kitchen separately for the guests. Check in anytime and check out. Breakfast on request. The family was living downstairs and their mother too were living with them . It was nice meeting her. They have a big dog but very friendly. Easy access to the railway station (10 minutes ). Enough trains to get to Ragama from Colombo or Polgahawela side. Value for money for a good night sleep. Spending 4 or5 nights recommended to work from home. 1 to6 guests can stay having their own space for themselves. Highly recommended !!!

Lovely host & hostess, we arrived later in the evening from the airport, and the hostess was so sweet in getting us in the room and comfortable when we arrived, And the host helped us the following morning getting us a Tuktuk to the nearest bus stop to sigiriya! Beautiful property, clean comfortable rooms, a really lovely stay overall!

I had a wonderful experience at Doctors Villa. The owner lady was very nice and kind, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The place was well-maintained with good hygiene, which gave me a lot of comfort and confidence during my stay. Overall, my experience was truly great, and I would happily recommend it to others.

“Extremely Unprofessional – Reservation Cancelled Last Minute”

I had a confirmed booking at The Doctors Villa but the property cancelled our reservation at the last minute, claiming that a previous guest had extended their stay. This is completely unacceptable, especially since we had made the reservation in advance and were counting on it for our arrival in Sri Lanka. To make things worse, the property lied to Booking.com and said that we didn’t show up. In reality, we were on a flight to Sri Lanka at the time and couldn’t answer their call. However, I had already informed the property that we were coming, and the reservation was confirmed. There was no reason for them to rely on a phone call to cancel our stay. It’s extremely unprofessional and dishonest, and I strongly advise other travelers to avoid this property.

This place is so beautiful and the rooms are so spacious, well arranged and comfortable!! It is ideally located between Colombo and the airport. The owner Anusha is also incredibly nice, she will take care of you like one of her own and will help you with anything you might need. This is a beautiful place in all the different ways, I truly recommend it!!

The hosts were great! They allowed us to come at 3am, because our flight came at 2am. In the morning they prepared breakfast, and allowed us to leave our bags when we checked out to explore Colombo! At the end they helped us to find driver for another city! Warm recommendation for all!
