This hotel was perfect! The staff were all so friendly and our server for evening dinner claudio was incredible. They Made us feel like we were at home. We were celebrating our honeymoon and it has been our favourite spot in Sicily. It was quiet, relaxing and a romantic setting. There are lots of cute foxes in the evening that love to say hello too!

“A hidden gem!”

Absolutely stunning setting in a pine forest on the slopes of Etna. It’s all quite magical, a bit like fairyland, beautifully built with separate chalets dotted around in the woods. Lovely areas to sit and relax. Walks nearby.

Locanda Milia is truly magical. Situated in a chesnut forest, it is a nature lover's paradise. We were after the quiet, nature, delicious food and able to go on long walks, and Locanda Milia delivered that and more. From the second we arrived here, we were greeted with amazing hospitality and that level of hospitality continued throughout our stay here. Super friendly, helpful and made us feel at home. It's an exceptionally beautiful property, finished to high standards and it is really clear that the owners and staff take great pride with their hotel and it's surroundings. Clean, beautiful nature, great food, friendliness, the sound of nature and adorable foxes, what more could you want? It is truly a hidden gem and we cannot wait to be back!

If you are looking for an unforgettable getaway, look no further than Locanda Milia. Nestled right in the middle of Mount Etna, this place is a true hidden paradise. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the hospitality. The staff here are the friendliest and most helpful team I have ever encountered during my travels; they truly go above and beyond to make you feel at home. The entire property is impeccably maintained and super clean, making it so easy to relax. As for the dining—wow. The on-site restaurant serves hands-down the best food in the area, and waking up to their genuine, authentic breakfast was the absolute perfect way to start a day of exploring the volcano. I cannot recommend Locanda Milia highly enough. An exceptional stay in every way, and I can't wait to return!

“Beautiful Chalet with very cozy rooms and exellent food near Etna.”

The place is exactly what we were looking for, a comfortable and beautiful Chalet in the mountains (and close to Etna, you can go a walks of old lava paths which are beautiful). The rooms are very cozy, the staff is super friendly and professional. The spa was a highlight as well with the Sauna and the outdoor Jaccuzi. Very good value for money and the restaurant’s food is excellent, they had some great selections of Primi, Secondi and also great Wines and cocktails! Very highly recommend.

“Superb staying”

Amazing place. The room was spacious enough and clean. The staff was so welcoming, nice and friendly. Me and my partner were looking for a quiet place and this is the best place you can be. We had also dinner over there and the restaurant was so romantic and the staff ( Claudio and Andrea) were really lovely, polite and helpful. Our staying met all the expectations we were looking from this short staying.

Everything! We had such a fantastic stay at Locanda Milia Etna! The place is beautifully kept and designed. The food and wine were outstanding! Our host was wonderful! So friendly, helpful and genuinely cared about making out stay perfect! We had such an amazing time there that we returned on the same trip for 2 more nights.

Absolutely everything! Such an incredible place, you have to see it to believe it. The host Pepe and his family are super welcoming and really make your stay special. The mountain foxes were a total surprise! We will definitely be back.

“A great stay in Etna's yard”

The surrounding of Locanda Milia is really special. The accomodation and the nature around is absolutely beautiful. The first lava fields are volcano craters are five minutes of driving away. The food in the restaurant is great. The breakfast is also very good. Both services were held in a smaller place so we did not experience dining in the tavern. There is of course room for improvements in the service (e.g. noise during breakfast and dinner time), but everyone was actually quite warm and welcoming. We had one of the best tiramisu ever and had a lovely late evening jacuzzi session. Altogether, it was a lovely stay!

“Misleading description”

Hot tub is not available to guests except for superior room. Spa was not bookable during our stay. Bikes were broken and not available for rental. Emails not replied to. Spoke to reception who offered to follow up via text message and never did.

Everything was superb, the location, the staff, the food in the restaurant & the wine was 👌 The bed & bedding was sublime, we had the best sleep. The cable car up Mount Etna is a 15 minute drive away, and the surrounding area is great for cycling & running. And don’t forget the visiting foxes 🤩

An amazing place with very friendly and helpful staff. They truly want to help and very passionate about their work. The property is located in a forest and perfect if you are searching for peace and calmness. It's also only a 15 min drive from Etna.
