Vincenzo is very welcoming and friendly. He offers lots of helpful recommendations for restaurants, sightseeing, and local experiences. And has the cutest dog that our kids loved.

“Relaxed, convenient and charming stay”

Very convenient for Etna. 20-30 minutes drive away. Property is basic, rustic, homely and peaceful. For us it was a perfect place to relax after a wonderful day at Etna. Gated, safe and plenty of parking. Close to the village but we just had snacks and wine on a little table outside on the property. Vincenzo and Daniela were very welcoming and provided some lovely homemade treats for breakfast - cakes and jams - as well as other staples (bread, yogurts, ham and cheese). All in all can heartily recommend - great value and convenience for Etna. A tip for Etna - when we arrived there the cable car wasn’t working. We were offered a bus service (for the same price of 54 euros each!!) and a lengthy wait…we decided to walk and see what we could see…and actually we had wonderful views and access to some craters lower down. And there was snow so it was stunning. Not sure what “better” sights are further up but for us it was more than enough, just 20-30 minutes walk from the cable car entrance.

We really enjoyed our stay at Domus Verdiana, a quiet place in a small town close to Mount Etna National Park. What truly made the difference for us was the kindness of the owner. He gave us excellent advice on what to do around Mount Etna, including hiking tips, recommended a great restaurant. He also drove us to a bank so we could withdraw cash, which we needed for the restaurant. This was very much appreciated. The place itself is pleasant and offers very good value for money.

Cutest little cabin that sleeps 4, it includes a well equipped little kitchen. The owners were very helpful and friendly. Perfect location to visit Etna by car, just 30 mins away.

“Perfect Italian hospitality”

The place was incredible. We were comfortable and safe. The hosts went out of their way to support us. They offered us a space to charge our electric car, told us about close by restaurants and suggestions on activities. They even prepared fresh home made breakfast, from bread, to jams, juice and cake. The room was comfortable and cleaning was very professional.

What a lovely place to stay in the village, Vincenzo is a very helpful host and recommended a great restaurant for dinner at Nuovo K2.

We had a lovely stay at this cozy B&B near Mount Etna. The location is perfect for exploring the volcano and the surrounding villages. The room was comfortable, the breakfast was good, and our host was very welcoming with great tips for visiting the area. Highly recommended!

We very much liked the welcome and services offered at the property. Breakfast impeccable every morning and our room was always kept clean. Parking facility always available and online services always connected without any issue. Dana (the border-collie dog) made our stay even better. Will surely consider another stay at the same property as we are in love with the place. Well done to the owners.

“A relaxing jump off point to Mt. Etna and East Sicily”

The property was family owned and run, in a beautiful town at the foot of Mt. Etna. The home is stunning, surrounded by trees and greenery, feeling very secluded and calm, while also being a stunning house. From the balcony of the room we had really lovely views and an outdoor perch to end our days.

Lovely, well-looked after property, rooms were clean, comfortable, a good size and well-furnished. Hosts Vincenzo and Daniela were very welcoming and friendly, good communication prior to arrival and during our stay. They were so helpful and kind to us, giving information about restaurants in the area, sights, filling our water bottles, suggesting we take something warm to wear on the craters etc, and generally being lovely, like parents😂 Very quiet location on the slopes of Mount Etna in a small village, property had a large mature garden, it was very peaceful and it honestly felt like we were returning to visit parents in the family home. The cooler location of the property also was a welcome respite from the summer heat, and it was a short drive to the Silvestri Craters. Breakfast was delicious, everything was fresh and tasty, Daniela’s pistachio and chocolate chip cake was extremely good. Best thing was being greeted in the morning by Dana the rescue dog who is just really an angel on earth. Thank you so much!

Very peaceful

Everything was great. The host was very nice, he had no problem with our late check-in and next day on breakfast even recommended a great dinner place near the Domus Verdiana and best places to visit in surroundings. Domus Verdiana is placed in a very quiet, beautiful spot.

“Beautiful home”

Beautiful, charming villa and family on the slopes of Mount Etna. Vincenzo went out of his way to make our trip delightful. Our flight into Catania was terribly delayed, but Vincenzo put us totally at ease even though we didn't end up arriving till around 1 am. Breakfast was sensational, Daniela's home made pistachio cake was really special. There are some sensational restaurants in the village. Overall, we highly recommend visiting. We just wish we had stayed for an extra day or two!
