“Amazing home to experience real Ikaria”

I had the most amazing stay at Monopati. The accommodation is perfect with its facility, comfortable bed, the view overlooking the ocean, the hiking trail, the quietness yet being so close to a lovely village. However, what made my stay amazing was the friendliness, kindness, and all the little things Lefteris, Maria and Vasilia prepared and did for me. From helping organizing a taxi, to preparing local biscuits, honey and fruits. I joined the family in picking olives, had home cooked meals, and had real conversations with real people. Staying in Monopati enabled me to learn from the Ikarians on how life should be lived.

A beautifully located apartment, with a breathtaking view from the balcony of the mountains, surrounding villages and the sunset. The apartment was very clean, quiet, spacious and comfortable and had all the amenities. Many hiking trails are easily accessible from Agios Polikarpos. In the village there is a shop and a nice tavern and cafe. The host was very nice and helpful. I definitely recommend it.

Monopati Eco Villas was simply great and our stay there was really the best we could have in Ikaria. Location is great, close to both the mountainous villages and the beach. The apartment has everything you need (also for cooking, washing etc) and the view is amazing. We also had organic fruits from the garden. There is attention to every detail and I could not ask for anything better. Thank you for everything!

“Views down a verdant valley and good walking surround these modern apartments”

In mountain village with life going on around you these modern apartments have marvellous views looking down the valley. The owners have provided everything you might need along with little food gifts (super local honey amongst other things!). Mariagrazia the young lady who looked after us was lovely, gracious & helpful ~ I can’t thank her enough for going out of her way to make us feel at home.

This apartment, located in a quiet area in the heart of nature but also close to the center of a cute village, is a hidden gem that exceeded my expectations in every way. If you're seeking a peaceful escape surrounded by the wonders of nature, coupled with modern comforts and exceptional service, look no further. Our stay here was nothing short of a rejuvenating and unforgettable experience. From our balcony we could enjoy breathtaking views of the mountains and the sea. What truly stood out, however, was the warmth and attentiveness of the staff.
