“Amelie Guesthouse with Ambience and Charm”

From the hospitality of Joe, to experiencing the charm of the Amelie guesthouse, every moment was wonderful. The guesthouse is perfectly placed in tge centre of historical Rabat, where you have all the amenities and restaurants close by. Amelie offers a pleasant ambience with lots of historical character. It is spacious, very clean offering a spacious kitchen in the cellar. The lounge is situated comfortably on the ground floor, with a convenient downstairs toilet. The bed, and bedroom offer comfort and a peaceful environment. Moving on upstairs, there is a nice spacious bathroom with a walk in shower, where finally you reach the terrace on the roof which offers wonderful views, and furniture you can relax on enjoying the sunrise, or sunset.

Joey the host was great, very proud of the property and the area. ( As he should be 😊) The property was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for a home from home feel. The location was perfect for exploring Rabat and Mdina and the choice of restaurants was great. A wonderful stay in a wonderful location.

Fantastic location

“Beautiful, if somewhat floored ...”

The town house has a really cosy and authentically Maltese feel, and is ideally located in the centre of Rabat. The kitchen is well appointed and works much better than many we've stayed in. The bed was particularly comfortable and the aircon managed to keep us warm despite the dismal weather - which largely prevented us enjoying the rooftop terrace. And our hosts were very helpful - do accept the offer of a transfer from the airport!

Location, was in easy walking distance to Mdina, many restaurants and the catacombs. Great sitting/lounge area, comfortable bed, lovely shower, fill kitchen.

Lovely townhouse, beautifully restored with a roof terrace for evening drinks. Parking was on the street but easy to find near the house. All the usual facilitates were there; coffee maker, etc etc. The host meet us and was very helpful and easy to communicate with. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would love to go back

Room to the house were spacious, clean and comfortable. The host made us feel very welcome and offers airport transfers if required and makes sure you have everything you need to enjoy a comfortable stay. Position of the house is within easy access to all amenities.

We had an excellent stay at Amelie, it was truly 'home away from home'. The house has everything you need, with fully equipped kitchen, very comfortable bed, lovely living room and terrace. The whole house is decorated to high standards, shows historical features, and has aircon. The location is also great, right in the centre of Rabat but not in a busy street. The house is very near historical buildings, cafés, restaurants, bakeries and a couple of grocery stores. It is also a few minutes away from beautiful Mdina, we had nigh time walks there every evening. The host, Joe, was very friendly and accommodating, and was flexible when it came to checking in and out. An extremely recommended stay!

Location was nice, facilities were good, rooftop terrace great touch, hosts very accommodating we had a problem with the water on the last day and they came to try and rectify this immediately. Homely, clean and pleasant stay. THANKYOU

Great position in a lovely village. Very well equipped there was nothing that we didn't have.

We loved the place a lot! Joe was an excellent host, incredibly helpful and friendly. The apartment is situated near to the center of Rabat and quite close to Medina. We loved the city, it was so quiet and not as crouded as Valletta. Apartment had everything we needed and definitely it's a place with a soul.

The contact with Joe was really kind, he waited at the appartment when I arrived and showed me everything. The house is wonderful, had everything I needed for my stay and in the area around are some lovely restaurants. I always found a free parking space within a minute to walk. So I really enjoyed the time.

A good area - close to most things of interest. A quaint old property. The building was in a relatively quiet alley. The host helped us with our cases on arrival.

It was large and private, centrally located but not too loud. The roof terrace was a lovely spot to enjoy the bells and watch the crowds.

good location - price-quality is good, considering the age of the house, it has charm, but the walls are peeling off a bit inside - it can be heated in winter, important for us, because in the evening in December it already gets quite cold - roof terrace is a great asset, you can enjoy the sun in winter

Wonderful location. Joe so helpful and full of information. The house is a beautiful old stone building in a quiet lane.

We enjoyed our stay a lot. Amelie is located perfectly not only to explore Rabat and Mdina (5mins walk), but also the whole island. You can either book a "Bolt" or go by bus. There are a lot of great restaurants around and the best pastizzi just down the street (crystal Palace). Joe picked us up and also gave us a lift to the ferry terminal when we travelled on to Gozo. He had a lot of good recommendations about what to do and where to go! Thank you :)
