The pool area was nice but the beds and tables were a little shabby and the water has something in it that stung your eyes and discoloured silver jewelry.

“Best option in Rab to stay in group!”
Location was great, beach/port front. It was very easy to access and there are dinning options around. The pool was clean and the water at the perfect temperature. Room was comfortable and spacious.

Everything about the place was so warm and welcoming. The apartment was absolutely stunning, offering one of the most breathtaking views. The food was exceptional, especially the dinners. They offer a great variety, including vegan, fish, or meat meals. Additionally, they have a tennis court available for guests to use.

“unfortunately, not a great start to our holiday”
Villa Royal is located near a marina so, as another reviewer has said, it’s a great location if you have a boat. also, as another reviewer has said, the photos on the site are misleading. I’d booked a room for 6 with 2 bathrooms. This is what my confirmation stated. when we arrived, there were beds for 4 and 1 bathroom. I had asked prior to arrival whether there was a sofa bed and had been told there was. however, it appeared to be just a large sofa. we tried our best to work out how it could be made into a bed but it wasn’t clear. we were told someone would come and make it up but no one ever did. our 15 year old was happy enough to sleep on it but it’s not what I’d booked. the room we were given was not like the majority of photos on here (much more dated) and so I’d recommend asking for confirmation of the room you will be getting before you book. also be wary that the only air conditioning unit is in the sitting area and when we stayed it was insufficient to cool the apartment (although it was in August). on the plus said, breakfast was good and Rab Town is a 10 min drive and lovely.

Nice sea view from balcony. The room was normal, bed was comfortable though. You could say that the furniture was a bit used/old, because for example the doors in the shower coulnd't be closed and one lamp wasn't working etc. But such little things didn't bother us, because we had nice view, everything was clean, bed was comfy, and the breakfast was really good and also on a terrace with amazing view.
