“Great vibes in Secret Garden”

I enjoyed the vibe of the hostel. It's well located in the historical center of Quito. They organize a lot of tours and activities that are worth trying. They serve a great breakfast and family dinner. The dorm rooms are convenient and I liked the attention for practical details like shelfs next to the bed and a power socket. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They are running the place like a family. I enjoyed my stay and found it easy to connect with others.

Friendly staff, great information, helpful in every way and lots of good deals for travel and adventure! Family dinners for $7 makes it easy if you come late and if you don't know anyone!

“For 1 night ok, but nothing amazing.”

We chose this hostel because we arrived from Amazonia late evening and drop off was just in front of it. The view from the rooftop is nice. Room for two has enough space for one night. Staff were really nice.

“A genuinely brilliant hostel”

Comfortable rooms and lots of tours to book on from the front of house. They work hard to great a good environment for all travellers, solo or in a group. The hostel was quieter than I expected after 11pm, so you do sleep well. Bar and restaurant are great places to relax and the food is much better than I expected. The laundry service is maybe a bit expensive, but it’s very very professional, quick and convenient. Thanks to Marta for this.

“Exactly what we needed!”

The two bedroom apartment was exactly what we needed for the 3 of us. The jacuzzi option was an added bonus that we enjoyed. Muchas gracias! We also had 50% off great food and drink which came in really handy for the few nights we stayed here just before going to the Amazon rainforest and after before flying home.

The staff are great, a friendly sociable hostal, wish i had stayed here before i went to the galapagos. The family dinner is a great vibe to meet and chat to people, the hostel staff are all friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean, standard hostel vibe.

Loved the friendly vibe and rooftop! Cotopaxi is a must with them, very helpful and attentive staff!

Very nice vibe at the hotel, it has everything you need. The staff is friendly, helpful and can organize everything you may need (sim card, transport, tours). The restaurant upstairs has great views of the city, they offer family dinner at a good price, free tea and coffee. It is clean

Staff were lovely and accommodating. The garden vibe is beautiful and the rooftop was stunning. Beds are nice and comfortable!

“Very friendly, social, great view and can book all tours around Ecuador”

Beds comfortable and private with a curtain, light and charging points. On arrival there didn’t seem like there was too many toilets: showers, but I never have to queue. I was surprised how often everything was cleaned daily! Everything was spotless. Loved the rooftop that was open all day. Nice place to chill with the view. Huge bonus was the meals at the restaurant and 50%. As a solo female, I didn’t feel the safest walking around at night, so in the evenings I would eat on the rooftop. Beautiful view of the city and social. Staff very friendly. Loads of tours could be booked through the hostel like Amazon trips and Cotopaxi- super easy and cheaper than online like get your guide. Highly recommend the free walking tour!
